//She's Like You

(I attempted to make a hiaku, but I didn't like it)

It's been three years.

Since I have felt your warm touch.

And have seen you're beautiful smile.

I miss you so much.

And so do our children.

You're mom and dad too.

The twins remember you.

Our oldest remembers you the most.

Finn says to say "hi mommy".

I had to make the girls happy.

Not to just make me happy.

But to make the kids happy too.

She's like you.

She is fond of you.

She misses you, and remembers you too.

She reminds me of you.

Her smile reminds me of yours.

She doesn't mind me talking about you.

She talks about you too.

They kids love her.

And they love their baby brother.

She sings them all to sleep at night.

We have a girl on the way.

We're planning to name her after you.

We hope you love her.

She's like you.

(Okay, honestly, I almost teared up, BUT I DIDN'T, I AM NOT A CRYBABY ANYMORE (jk).)
