You weren't at all surprised when he booked your anniversary trip as the family vacation; he loves his children.
You were staying with Pam, but visited Greg often. Beau loved his grandpa and you had even let Greg keep him a few nights of the vacation.
You and Logan decided to visit the Cleveland Zoo. You and Logan had taken many trips to this zoo while dating, because you both loved animals. Your children, however, had not went to a zoo before.
Beau was fascinated and talked your ear off the entire day, until he fell asleep in the stroller four hours into the experience. Your daughters loved adventure like your husband, which made everything more interesting. Logan was obsessed with the giraffe section of the zoo and had talked about giraffes for days before the trip. The girls couldn't wait! They knew that daddy was excited... so they were too.
What Logan didn't know was that you had contacted the zoo when you found out the plans to create a creative pregnancy announcement in the giraffe section of the zoo.
One of the giraffes was pregnant and the zoo keeper was going to come out and talk about the giraffes pregnancy to your family, then shift the conversation to you.
You were really nervous that things wouldn't work out and that Logan may be upset. You weren't necessarily trying for more children, but weren't preventing it either.
You reached the giraffe exhibit and saw the zookeeper talking with another family. She then came up to your family. The girls were already fascinated and Logan was right there with them.
Logan: "Hi. Are you the zookeeper?" Zookeeper: "Yes sir. I watch over the giraffe exhibit. Do you have any questions for me?"
The girls lit into all sorts of questions: how long is a giraffe's neck, what do they eat, do the lay down to sleep, how many giraffes are in this zoo, could they keep one as a pet? Then Logan asked the question "So this one is pregnant how does that work? I mean is it a nine month pregnancy?"
Zookeeper: "Actually the average pregnancy for a giraffe is 15 months long."
Logan: "Woah... How far along is she?" He points at the giraffe. Zookeeper: "She's eight months, but the real question you should be asking is how far along Mrs. Paul is." He looks at her very confused and then looks at you. You then reach in your purse and pull out three tests all showing positive. Your husband just smiles and you see tears in his eyes. He walks to you and wraps you in a hug.
Logan: "Another baby?" You can tell he is crying now. Y/N: "Yep. Another baby. Are you happy about it?" Logan: Pulling away to look at you, "I'm over the moon about it. Was I expecting it? No, but I love our babies now I'm sure I'll love this one." You kiss him.
