You and Chris had gotten married two years ago after an extensive five years of dating. You loved each other with every fiber of your being. Somehow that love grew stronger each day.
Chris was asked to make the speech at a local college's graduation ceremony. He was currently throwing around ideas of what to include in his speech as you two laid in bed.
Chris held his phone in his hand, opened to notes and began typing some things out.
You: "Whatcha writing?" you say, snuggling closer to him.
Chris: "Agh, just trying to figure out what to say at this graduation. Any suggestions?"
You: "Hmmm.... Not really." You begin to laugh.
Chris: "What? What are you laughing about?"
You: Laughing, "I was just thinking of your past speeches." You scroll through your texting conversation with him, which consisted mainly of gifs of him being a goofball.
You: "You should include some of your most famous lines."

Chris chuckles, "What? I don't remember you telling me to speak from the heart?"
You: "You were probably writing down the "Don't be a turd." point in your speech as I was telling you that." You continue to laugh.
Chris puts down his phone and shifts to look at you with a smirk on his face.
You: "What?"
Chris: "I was just thinking that if you had told me to speak from the heart I would have said one word."
You begin to laugh. "Would that word be food?"
He snickers and runs his thumb along your jaw before kissing you softly.
Chris pulls away. "Y/N. The word would have been simply, Y/N."
