Back to Hell

Edited.

The next few years passed in peace and the mathematical formulas I introduced into this world numbered in the double digits.

Of course, I did it with some help.

Each formula was under a certain topic and I could spend points for mastery over the topic.

Basically, cheating...Legally.

I think.

Anyway, I had numerous medals decorating my room and even realised the significance of the medals but after tons came, they seemed to lack that lustre that it had when I received my very first one.

Of course, the money that came along with it was...Generous.

I currently had a few million dollars USD sitting in my private account dad had made me.

I couldn't spend mindlessly though.

In my past life, I was forced to live frugally when dad would cut off my pocket money so it became a habit of mine.

So getting great wealth wouldn't change my frugal attitude towards spending cash.

Anyway, today was good, that was until dad came back home and dropped a bombshell on me that broke my heart into tiny little fragments and made me feel betrayal on a level I had never felt before.

———

Several hours before.

"Evening!" I shout to dad and Theo as I ate dinner.

"Evening Al." Theo says.

"Evening! Have you given the helpers any trouble Al?"

"Nope! I read books all day inside my room! Now that Theo is outside everyday, I can't play with him anymore!"

Theo has a small smile on his face,"Your brother has to work! Dad's been hounding me to start learning how to manage his company already! You have it lucky Al!" He ruffles my hair and sits next to, looking dashing as usual.

Then, my curiosity peeks and I turn to Theo and Dad who were in the midst of a discussion whilst eating.

"Theo, is that girl you bring back every weekend your girlfriend?" I ask without hesitation.

Ah, the perks of being a 'young and naive' child.

Theo chokes on his spaghetti and dad spurts out his drink.

"Cough...Cough..." Theo looks to me with an incredulous look,"Where did you learn that?"

"It with the books dad bought for me!" I answer with an innocent smile,"I heard that boyfriends and girlfriends can hold hands, hug each other then kiss and then have s-"

"THAT'S QUITE ENOUGH!" Theo's voice rises several octaves and clamps his hand over my mouth to stop me from talking about sex.

Why is it that adults don't like children talking about the big S E X topic?

I mean they have Sexual Education in school so why not just discuss it at home?

He shoots dad a death stare wth eyes saying 'why-the-hell-would-you-give-her-a-book-about-relationships?!'

Dad coughs and looks away, ignoring him and feigning ignorance,"It's a natural part of life. Besides, I don't want her learning that stuff from friends in school. Al's a pure kid."

Amen father.

Sexual education classes are weird.

I had seen a few videos on it.
