Alexis' POV.

"I admit. You've done a wonderful job Phobetor. But playtime's over, time for me to restart your lives once more." An all-encompassing voice boomed from the skies, golden light raining down imperiously as two golden gates that shone resplendently in the sun.

I turned my head to see hundreds of godly figures standing above the world.

"You may be able to stand toe to toe with me Phobetor, but I'd wager that you'd be beaten to a bloody pulp against a thousand of us."

My face turned grim as I frowned.

I could barely hold my own against one god, say one thousand.

Suddenly, weakness took ahold of me as I vomited out scarlet blood, my legs giving way as I nearly crumpled to the floor.

Damn...The pill's...Side-effects...

"One down before the fight's even begun."

I chuckled bitterly,"One down? Cough...I ain't down till I fucking stop breathing." Grinning through the pain, a normal rejuvenate pill formed in my mouth.

With a crunch, the sweet liquids inside slid down my throat, renewing my flux as I stood up.

Regaining my calmness, I asked,"You got a plan?"

"Against a thousand? We'd need fuckin' Deus Ex Machina to win this."

"It's at times like this I really wish the power of friendship bullshit worked." I laughed bitterly.

"If only. Unfortunately, the goddess of friendship Philotes seems to be glaring at us with murderous intent." He bantered.

"You know you've royally fucked up when the goddess of affection hates you."

"Second that. Well all we can do is try. We still have that violin."

"Melodia? You're right. It's been quite a while since I've used this to fight, my skills are rusty."

"Don't disappoint Apollo."

"You betcha." Raising the violin, I played the first note.

Divine Melody, a mortal instrument given divine power-It had three uses.

One, as an instrument.

Two, to bring imaginations to life.

Three, kill.

It worked like amplite-Only far, far more dangerous.

With rhythmic movements, I found my flux being absorbed by Melodia, waves of pure flux shooting outwards and towards the gods standing over us.

HUMMMM!

A low note shot forth, slamming into a few minor deities, severely injuring them, my hand moving continuously as I played.

'Bzzt!'

Lightning crackled as power shot from Jupiter's arms, crashing into a few gods almost ineffectively.

"Dear daughter, do you really think I hadn't accounted for your violin?"

Bang!

Bang!

In an instant, nearly a hundred deities arrived down on the planet, encircling us.

My brows creased as I kept on playing, the concentrated flux fending off numerous attacks from all around.

We were deadlocked.
