This world was like a board game.

It wasn't something that could be learnt with skill like chess.

Nor was it based entirely on luck like games where a dice was used as a way to determine key things which may negatively or positively impact a game.

No, life was much more complicated.

A series of probabilities where infinite choices sprout from a single move you make that can branch out infinitely.

Life, was this world's most difficult game and it was near impossible, no, absolutely impossible, to beat perfectly.

Life was not a game where you strived for perfection.

It was a game where you tried your best.

It was unfair, random and was like a game on the hardest difficulty multiplied a thousandfold.

That, was my inspiration for my newest, absurd invention.

I had recently spent a million points on mastery over engineering, crafting and basic programming, multi-tasking and a few other things.

All just to satisfy my curiosity.

Could a human possibly create a game that replicates life?

A board game that could be won in a matter of minutes or take days to finish.

I had spent nearly ten million to make this board, this beautiful work of art that stood before me.

I had gathered my family today to showcase what I had worked on for the past month.

This, my very first creation.

A thing that did not originate from my own world, a creation from the depths of my very own mind.

This was something that tested the human brain.

It would bring forth the ultimate challenge for the brain and push brainpower to the limit.

"Have a seat!" My eyes twinkled with excitement.

My father sits down at stares at the ordinary metal table and frowns,"...What is...this?"

"Trying it out is the best way to explain it. There are no rules and all you have to do is make a decision by saying it out loud." I say with my hands pressed together,"It's the ultimate test of your mind."

My family stares dubiously at the table, then me.

To them, it looked like an ordinary table.

"Game...start." I whisper and the table lights up.

The surface flips and a checkerboard like pattern appears, on it, two statuettes appear, one of a male and one of a female.

The male had the words 'Grand Duke' shining behind it while the female's had the word 'Imperial Princess' behind it.

On the side, a two metal trays popped out of the sides, showing our status.

I look at mine:

Imperial Princess-
