Jeremy had always been jealous of Rich, though, and at first he thought it was because of how close he was becoming with Michael, however, once they started dating, Jeremy felt relieved. This confused him, but he soon found out that he wasn't jealous of Rich for how close he was to Michael, but jealous for how close Rich was to Jake. Jeremy had found out that he was in love with Jake.
Jake, who had no idea about this, was internally dying. Why? Because he blushed whenever Jeremy was around. He was in love with Jeremy just as much as Jeremy was in love with him.
Both boys are just oblivious idiots.
