*Sorry to make this long with over 3,000 words*

     Jose's P.O.V: "First Officer"

Looks to me were dealing with a mirror hunter that's after Demi right now and not me... And that's when my eyes lit up with glory--

Perfect! Now, I don't have to worry about losing the bet! Whoo, I'm on the lead here, baby~!

Standing across from me on the cipher machine, Victor was focusing on decoding while rolling his eyes at me, as if to tell me that he doesn't really care about our competition what-so-ever.

Ha! As if a young boy like him knows such a thing as victory in sight! While I, the youngest and most awesome-brave man, knows how to survive what is now called the 'Who gets to survive out here the longest?' challenge. But either way, I'll still be the survivor who'll escape, eventually.

Just as I felt relieved that victory for me is drawing near, I suddenly felt shivers coming down my spine as I realized something was off--

"How did you get here so fast?" I demanded Victor. "Weren't you supposed to work on the other cipher?"

The postman shrugged awkwardly as he continued to assist the cipher machine.

Ugh. Don't tell me he wants both of us to be caught first if the hunter finds both of us...

While I focused on decoding more than half-way through, we both got the message from Demi saying: "Beware! The hunter has changed the target!"

Changed target? Dang it, I swear it's not fair that she has only gotten one hit, and the hunter has decided to lose her... Which means Demi must've outsmarted the hunter somehow and managed to escape its grasp... D*mn you, Demi!

     Victor's P.O.V: "Postman"

     Forgive me, Jose...

When the cipher machine was about to trigger a calibration, I purposely failed it, causing the machine to short-circuit by itself.

Without looking back at Jose, I took off running, sending my dog to give the letter to Jose for a kiting buff just in case.

"Victor!" Jose shouted angrily behind me, "How dare you!?"

     Sorry!

After a couple of seconds had passed, I heard the sound of a mirror reflection coming our way... and my heart started to pound as I caught a beautiful figure going after Jose with a mirror shard in her right hand.

     Lucky Guy's P.O.V: "?"

Did Victor just leave Jose just like--

     "Psst!"

--that? ...Then that means Jose had finally met his match, huh?

     "Psst!"

     Which reminds me--

     "Psst!"

I sighed, "What is it now, Freddy?"

Freddy pointed somewhere behind me and I whirled around to look, "Now that everyone's busy," he whispered, "We should question Luca, don't you think?"

I frowned, "I thought you want this to be a secret?"

"It's still a secret," the lawyer pointed it out, "But we need to know more about where he found it from."

"Don't you think he'll get suspicious?"

"Tch, he already knows he threw it on my head and just went off," Freddy muttered, "Isn't it strange how he never asked it back from me this morning?"

My eyes wandered closely at Luca, "He's tired. Perhaps that's the reason why he didn't ask you this morning."

"Hmph, then don't try to stop me since this is--"

"You're not watching the match?" We heard a familiar voice behind us and we instantly jumped a little. "Or were you mainly focusing on somewhere else?"

     Standing behind us was Luca...

How did he get here so fast? It was as if he knew we were talking about him a second ago!

"We, um," I hesitated, "We absolutely weren't talking about y-you and we'll be on our way now--"

"Out of my way," Freddy grumbled as he shoved me aside and took a step forward in front of Luca until they were facing each other directly. "Look here, buddy," the lawyer began, "We don't want any trouble from you but we want to know about the book that you had thrown at me earlier yesterday."

Unexpectedly, the prisoner glanced at us with a confusing expression. "Oh? So the reason you wanted to talk to me was because of that book?" Although I'm not sure if he's being honest or not, he started to confess, "It's hard to say, but I couldn't read it."

"What?" Freddy and I gasped quietly in the back corner as Luca explained everything silently to us...

     . . .

     Tracy's P.O.V: "Mechanic"

"I already told you, leave me alone," I glared at the boys. "If you want to know about what I said this morning, I thought that book was some kind of journal back then, nothing interesting at all."

"So, you weren't the traitor?" Freddy tried again.

I rolled my eyes, "If I was the traitor, would I be so easily to give out any other evidence that I could be the traitor?"

Just then, I caught Freddy muttering, "Looks like we did, your attitude--"

I was taken aback, "You dare insult the mechanic? Geez, I..." Then, I accidentally shed some tears as sudden flashbacks came pouring into me... Recovering within a second, I cried, "You guys are so mean! Everything I tried to do and to become, you won't accept me for who I am?"

"Look, we're sorr--" Lucky Guy began, but Freddy interrupted him.

"Ignore her, if she tried to attack us or one of the traitors did," the lawyer said with his eyes focusing on me, "Then we know who already did it."

"H-how?" I asked anxiously, regretting those words immediately when spoken. "How could you?"

Freddy was about to answer my question when Lucky Guy cutted in before he did--

     "Stop!"

The entire room instantly shook at his sudden outburst...

"What's with all that shouting?" Monokuma demanded from his seat, "Don't you know shouting might have caused me to say that 'a body might be discovered' any moment now?"

"Uh," Lucky Guy's face turned red as he then blurted, "Freddy pinched me."

     "Why me?!"

Oh, so Freddy wanted me to take the blame? Hmph!

     Vera's P.O.V: "Perfumer"

"Get out of here!" I shouted to Jose while I was busy decoding within less than a mile away from where he was last hit.

"Focus on decoding!" Jose responded back.

     If he says so...

However, it didn't take long before I finished the cipher and Jose had already been hit down at the same time. So far, Victor has already finished the other cipher, leaving only 3 left to go before the exit gates can be opened.

'We're almost there!'  I told myself.

After a moment later when Jose was being tied onto that rocket chair, my heart started to race as I hastily sprayed the perfume just in case if the hunter wishes to attack me first.

The hunter was camping near the chair but when she saw me, she immediately went after me, and managed to hit me once when I got close.

Running over to the rocket chair, I untied the ropes quickly, and went back to where I last sprayed the perfume. Thankfully, I was back in full health as I watched the hunter chase after Jose who was already using his special skill to hypnotize the hunter, his pocket watch.

It appears the hunter was confused whenever she tried to hit him, thinking she was close enough to land a hit, it didn't work... Seems like he is doing alright for now....

     . . .

After a few moments of healing Demi within a nearby cipher, Jose was already tied into the chair and that's when the hunter decided to summon her mirror in front of us--

I managed to spray my perfume just in time as the hunter's reflection hit Demi instead of me, missing me by an inch.

Now this is where I called 'a close one.'

Unfortunately, due to that hit, Demi was already down within a flash.

Darn, I wish I had brought myself more time to heal her, but I couldn't...

As I watched the mirror hunter twirled around in a second, her full image appeared right before my eyes. Having to waste two of my perfumes, I was down to only one bottle of perfume left...

"Get out of here!" Demi shouted at me, and I almost forgot the hunter was right there, coming after me with a dangerous glow in her eyes.

     . . .

My body couldn't move... I was paralyzed in fear...

"Get out of here!" The barmaid repeated herself. "Get. Out!"

When the hunter was about to raise her shard in order to strike at me, I ducked on the ground with my eyes closed...

     "Woof!"

      Huh?

      "Woof woof!"

Just then, Victor's dog came over to us but instead of delivering us letters that the little dog should have, he passed by me and pounced onto the hunter. Startled by this, the hunter tried to get Victor's dog off by moving from one side to the next, frustrated.

Immediately, I took that sign as a chance to escape, and fled the scene...

Victor was already behind me as he led me out of danger.

"Victor," I began, "Why didn't you save Jose? Is he--"

"You called me?" Jose interrupted me from the back. "I'm fine, but if that hunter gets to me again, I'm going to be off."

I raised my eyebrows at him as we stopped running, "Does that mean you don't care about winning anymore?"

"W-well I do care about that!" His expression saddened in a way that I could clearly understand. "But, I guess now's not the time to be fighting like that..."

"You're right about that part," I murmured under my breath before going up to heal him, and Victor followed my lead.

It didn't take long to heal him fully when Victor's dog returned back. Watching Victor petted his dog gently, I cleared my throat. "Enough play time, now it's show time."

"So what's your plan?" Jose crossed his arms. "Got any better idea than standing here and doing nothing?"

"Well," I let my shoulders relax, "I have a plan, but it might be-you know, dangerous."

"Heh, I live for danger, sweet heart."

     "Don't call me that--"

"Yeah, yeah," the first officer waved my words away, "So what's the plan?"

     . . .

As I got near the rocket chair, my heart started to pound faster as I let the hunter take a hit on me before rescuing Demi on the chair.

"Took you long enough," she commented, but I ignored her as we both kited the hunter together.

     . . .

With the hunter closing in on us with her reflection, we did our best to separate ourselves from each other, forcing the hunter to choose one of us to tag along. And just as I thought she would, the hunter chose me to come after next...

     No One's P.O.V: "Shh"

After Kreacher, Naib, and Aesop headed upstairs together, the hallways around them were deadly silent as the only noise they could hear was the sound of the creaking stairs.

It didn't take long to reach the 3rd floor...

"Hmm, I think it's somewhere around here," Kreacher said, pointing down towards the hallway. "We could all split up and--"

"You can go by yourself," Aesop began softly, "While me and Naib look for it together."

"Geez, what's the matter with you, acting all so bossy for some reason?"

"Not. My. Problem," the embalmer responded coldly before walking past Kreacher. Unsure whether or not to disagree or agree, Naib followed Aesop closely behind.

After a few minutes of searching between rooms and rooms, the three noticed something strange about the 3rd floors. All of them were either classrooms, a library, and... They stopped upon a door that read 'Headmaster's Office.'

"H-headmaster?" The thief looked startled, "Don't tell me this is where the mastermind has been hiding this whole time... We should--"

Without saying a word, Aesop turned away from the door, "Don't even bother trying to break open the door."

     "What do you mean?"

"It's locked. I tried that earlier."

     "You did?"

"How else would I know not to warn you?"

     "Warn me?"

     "That the mastermind is watching..."

     "Watching?"

     . . .

"Are you going to repeat everything I just say?" Aesop eyed Kreacher suspiciously. "Don't do anything... that makes me want to regret you."

The thief sighed in frustration, "So you suspect me, big deal!"

"You're acting awfully weird today, I must say," The embalmer began breathlessly, "Or are you afraid?"

"Pft, afraid?" Kreacher spat back with confidence, "Of course not--"

"I didn't find it," Naib blurted, getting their attention.

As Naib led the two into the room across from the other classrooms, they found the health room...

After taking about less than half-an-hour to find the cure, the survivors realized it wasn't even there... The rows of medicine jars and containers didn't contain the right medicine in order to cure Naib...

"It's not even there!" Kreacher frowned furiously, prepared to give up. "Monokuma lied to us!"

"So, what if he did?" Aesop ignored him, still looking over at the other containers. "We might be looking at a wrong spot here."

     "Or someone tampered with it."

     "Like?"

     "Maybe the traitor?" Kreacher suggested.

Thinking about this quietly to himself, Aesop could see why Kreacher wanted to tag along in the first place... "What's that in your hands?"

"Hm?" The thief stared confusingly at him. "A flashlight."

     "Why did you need that?"

"... Uh, it's been with me the entire time? Why else would 'you' carry that briefcase of yours?" Kreacher countered.

The embalmer shrugged, "For personal matters."

     "Same here..."

     . . . . . .

"Hey, look, I found the medicine!" Kreacher's eyes lit up as he showed the others the labels.

Examining it closely, Naib took it cautiously from the thief's hands before opening up the lid, and taking out the medicine.

"Where did you find it?" Aesop questioned all of a sudden.

"It was hiding behind the rest of the other medicines, of course."

Glancing at the labels once more, Naib took the medicine carefully in his palms. But before he could put it in his mouth, the embalmer sensed something was wrong from the moment the corner of his eyes caught Kreacher's face looking quite disturbed and unsettled.

And then a flashback occurred to him...

What does Eli do when he notices someone was about to die in front of them? Did he let this happen? Did he feel happy about it? Excited? Eagered?

No. He didn't. And Aesop knew that all too well...

    . . .

Naib's already been injured... Shouldn't he give up his life and let his future take him to heaven? Or just... wait? But how long can he wait?

    . . .

The look on Vera's face when she knows she doesn't want to die... The look on Naib's face when he doesn't know that he's going to die... The look on Eli's face when he decided to--

Knocking the medicine out of Naib's hand, Aesop snatched the container that Naib was holding earlier and shoved it on Kreacher's face. "If you can prove that you're innocent, eat this. After all~ You found it first."

     Lucky Guy's P.O.V: "?"

It was pretty strange how Luca told us that the book or the journal was actually unreadable for someone like him. Though, I'm still wondering what he meant when he said that there wasn't a single word but lots of dots on them... Dots? Dots? Dots? What kind of an answer is that, I wonder?

And when we told him that there wasn't a single dot on the diary, he gave us a startled expression as if he doesn't believe us... Which doesn't make a lot of sense here...

"Finally, the round is over!" Monokuma's voice snapped me awake from my thoughts. "It appears we have a draw!"

     A draw?

I glanced up at the screen and there it was... A Draw.

So Jose and Demi didn't make it? What? How come I wasn't even paying attention?

As the two lucky survivors came back into the main room, they were already tired and exhausted as they did their best to catch their breath.

"What happened?" I asked Kurt who seemed to understand what's going on.

"Oh, Mary had caught up with Vera, put her in the chair, then Demi tried to save her, in which she got caught in the end along with Jose-- believe it or not, they were doing their best out there together," Kurt summarized, "And Victor managed to save the others by finishing the other remaining ciphers which saves a lot of time, but with Demi and Jose gone, Vera managed to use her last perfume and found a chest in which she got a flare gun-- shot the hunter, and made her escape in the dungeon."

Oh. Well, that was unexpected for them to do, but at least it's a draw, right? However, a draw could mean...

"Officially~" Monokuma got the survivor's attention, "I would've done something like tossing the coin to see who gets to obtain that point when it's a draw... but since it's only fair for everyone else, I have officially made a new rule."

     A new rule?

"I was just teasing Lucky Guy earlier about having 'me' to decide on who should be the winner if the team earns a draw, but as a headmaster~ I think it's better to play safe than be sorry in the end," Monokuma smiled cheerfully, "Which is why I'm going to let both of the teams who earns the 'draw,' get NO point!"
