     Lucky Guy's P.O.V: "?"

"Lucky Guy, can I talk to you for a moment?" A voice came behind me after I stepped out of the elevator.

     It was Vera.

Wondering what she wanted to talk to me about, I smiled at her, "Hey, Vera, what's up?"

Walking over to me, she glanced worriedly at Edgar, and I could tell she wanted a private chat... With only me...

"I guess I'll leave you two privately then," Edgar finally got the hint when I elbowed him the second time. "I'll be in the dining hall with the others just so if you're curious." And with that, he walked away, leaving the two of us alone in the middle of the hallway.

When the coast was clear, the perfumer softly said, "I was wondering, do you still remember what the 'Traitor Of One' told us about the farewell from the 1st trial?"

"The farewell?" I repeated, unsure what she wanted me to say about it.

Of course I remembered it, but didn't think that was important before... What could make 'that' so important for her to bring up right now? I thought we're through with it already...

"Hmhm," Vera nodded her head. "Do you remember it?"

     What?

"N-not really," I hesitated, feeling stupid all of sudden. "Do you?"

"Of course I do!" Vera crossed her arms. "I'm Fiona's friend so of course I would remember it like the back of my hand," she stated confidently before going back to her point. "The thing is, I was wondering if the farewell was connected to Margaretha as being an impostor."

I shrugged, "That doesn't matter right now. She's gone, so why bother to worry about her?"

"Ugh, geez! Can you at least be a little more patient? You sound just like Freddy!"

Ouch. I suppose she's got a point there, Lucky Guy... If I keep acting like a solo survivor, I wouldn't survive as much as I wanted to... And wow, does she really have to compare me to an arrogant lawyer?

"S-sorry!" I apologized immediately, trying my best to pay attention to what's in front of me. "Can you tell me what's the farewell message again?"

She thought for a second, "First glance, I am an angel. Second glance, I am her. Third glance, I am 'what I am.'"

     . . .

Okay. I didn't expect her to memorize those three lines, but that'll do, I guess...

"And you want me to...?" I paused, unsure how Vera wanted my answer to be.

"I want you to tell me if the farewell has anything to do with Margaretha," Vera answered, giving me a hopeful look. "Please? At least, can you solve its meaning for me?"

I'm guessing she wants the answer, like, right now... But why? Am I really that smart or something?

"I don't have the exact answer to what you're looking for, but if what the fake Fiona had given you that message to catch one of the traitors..." I replied slowly towards the end. "Then.... No, it can't be for Margaretha."

"What?!" Her face says it all.

I sighed, but not in frustration, "Sure the farewell message is talking about the traitors being themselves and who they actually were, but for Margaretha, however, didn't match up the 1st line," I explained it to the perfumer. "She wasn't an angel, but a regular dancer, even on first glance, she never really acted like an angel to everybody so that's why the farewell cannot be written for her," adding to my statement. "AND that also goes well for line #2, it's got to do with someone about being 'her,' not necessarily being who they really are, but Margaretha was just being herself when she was revealed to be the killer, nothing particularly showing 'her'."

Vera frowned. "But Margaretha should match up as an angel, shouldn't she?"

"Do you know what an angel is?" I asked her before explaining what it means, "An angel is someone who is very kind and thoughtful of one another, basically being some sort of protector or a guide in someone's life."

Nodding casually, the perfumer finally understood what I meant. "Oh, so that's how it goes, thank you!" She beamed, "You're really amazing, Lucky Guy! You probably have an IQ of a super genius detective!"

Blushing, I smiled awkwardly, "No, no, it's just what I love doing best. Though, I find it hard to call myself a detective or a super genius, so let's just say that I was 'lucky' at what I'm doing."

"Of course!" Vera smiled, then glanced over at the Monokuma clock up on the wall. "It's noon already, should we go to the dining hall together for lunch?"

Yea-- No, I have other business to take care of... Like getting that journal from Freddy's room, that is... Although, seeing how Vera was wanting to spend some time with me, I couldn't say 'no' to that, can I? Even so, it's kind of strange to find her wanting to spend some quality time with me, even though I've always seen her spending time around survivors who were up to her standards...

"If you want to," I replied, following her right behind as we headed to the dining hall together.

Just like I expected and partly unexpected, when we arrived into the storage room to go to the kitchen, the body of the victim was gone, and so was the mess.
