*Here is an artwork that I've been working on yesterday and today AND boy does it take about up to 10 hours, yes, 10 HOURS to draw and color this! Man, I'm so relieved I managed to finish it today. Although it's not the best, this is the best artwork that I have ever drawn, no kidding~!*

Too bad there won't be any trick-or-treaters out here tonight :(

But still, I look forward to celebrating in a different way instead~

Which is why I'm creating this chapter as a 'Bonus Chapter,' to celebrate this holiday.

     No One's P.O.V: "A Holiday"

     The very next day...

(Author's note: I skipped time instead to speed things up a bit, so forgive me for the rush.)

"Gooooood morning, everyone!" The headmaster, Monokuma announced in the speakers. "Looks like today is going to be another beautiful day! As usual, please meet me by the main room ASAP at exactly 7:30 a.m." Then warned, "Failure to do so will result in a serious punishment, ta taa!" And the speakers clicked off.

Groaning in exhaustion from lack of sleep, Lucky Guy wiped his eyes and put his glasses on. Blinking back, he noticed Kreacher and Kevin had already cleaned their beds, meaning they must've gone to the dining hall by now.

"This is it," he told himself as he cleaned his bed and got ready for the day. "Just a regular, old day like yesterday and so on," he murmured, straightening his clothes, and exited out of the room.

Half-way through the hallways, he came across Emily and Emma who were making their way down to the dining room. Their backs were turned away from him and they looked pretty normal, all laughing and smiling. Seeing them together like this, Lucky Guy could only smile.

Knowing that this is the 4th day that they had been stuck here together, Lucky Guy knew that he shouldn't give up just yet. At least, not today...

After finishing breakfast, the survivors all head back to the main room before the clock strike 7:30 o'clock, and in that moment when they opened the doors--

"Hey, what's with all those weird decorations?" Martha pointed out, gazing at the dusty skulls and bones on the ground. And then she gasped as a sudden thought hit her, "D-did someone die here last night?"

"Pft!" Tracy rolled her eyes as she kicked at one of the skulls and watched it land on the ground with a thud. "Seems already dead to me," she added. "Like hundreds of years ago."

Servais frowned when his eyes landed on the ripped, red curtains. "This is a strange set-back if you asked me."

"Well, ignore the decorations, did any of you do this?" Freddy questioned from the front of the room, "If not, then this looks more like a job a traitor would do to throw us off guard," he said with a serious tone. "Not too worried," he bragged, "A lawyer can investigate this matter by himself."

Emma's expression turned desperate, "T-there's a traitor here?!"

"Like you didn't know that?" The lawyer asked with a boring look on his face.

"I-I mean, I know!" Emma began, quickly. "But... didn't expect why the traitors would do that."

"Hmph, isn't that obvious?" Kreacher jumped into the conversation, "The traitors would do anything to catch us off guard--"

"Exactly what I said," Freddy cutted in.

As the survivors started to argue about all sorts of confusion and misconceptions, they suddenly heard whispers around the room.

     "OooooohhhhhhHHHHHh~!"

Everyone in the main room jumped in fear.

     "What was that?" Margaretha whispered.

"I dunno!" Freddy whispered back, loudly.

"Do you think there are such things as ghosts?" Emily suggested silently.

As if on cue, the room immediately darkened and the survivors were swallowed by darkness...

The survivors grew quiet, heart thumping inside of them as they tried their best to recover from this.

     Silence.....

     More silence......

     More and more silence.....

More and more and more silence....

     Until--

The lights flickered back to normal until standing before them was a--

      "BOO!"

      "AHHHH!!!" The survivors screamed.

There stood a robotic bear, wearing a black and red cloak with sharp teeth drawn onto his mouth. (And, as you can see, he looks very scary indeed. JK!)

"W-who the heck are you?!" Melly was the first to question the figure.

"It must be from the dead!" Jose said with a worried look, "Hurry, let's all attack this little impostor together until Monokuma shows up!"

"You don't have to tell me twice," William responded back, clenching his fist together as he was prepared for this battle. "If this impostor thinks he is tougher than me, Bring it on!"

Sensing something was wrong, the little vampire bear shrieked as the others came pouncing onto him, and started beating him up.

"What have you done to the headmaster?" The forward demanded between each hit. "Tell (punch). Me (kick). Where (punch). He (kick). Is! (double punch)"

"Hey!" Murro did his best to pull William and the others off of the little vampire. "Stop this at once you guys!"

      "But--"

"Guys, his other eye is glowing red!" Lucky Guy pointed to the others. "Then he's not the impostor, right? He's Monokuma!"

"M-monokuma?" The others gasped as they watched the beaten up bear lay down with tons of scratches and marks.

Suddenly, Monokuma's eyes made a strange pattern blinks and glow until it rapidly became clear that he was--

"He's about to set off a bomb!" Luca shouted, catching the hint. "Get out of there you guys!"

Without hesitating, the others ran away from the robot as it exploded right in front of their eyes and the entire room erupted into a foggy air... As the smoke died down, thankfully, no one was hurt from this, they saw a shadowy figure of the same vampire that a few of them had tried to beat him down, appeared out of nowhere.

"Surprise!" Monokuma exclaimed cheerfully this time, "Puhuhuhu, did I scare you guys so badly?"

The survivors stared at their headmaster in a mix of emotions between awe and frustration...

"What was that all about just now?!" Jose demanded, wanting some explanation from this. "You almost killed us!"

"Killed you?" Monokuma repeated curiously as he tilted his head. "Killed you? Nah, I didn't. You guys almost killed yourselves!"

"But you had the bomb," Helena pressed. "Doesn't that make 'you' the one that harms us?"

The headmaster sighed in frustration when hearing this, "Hey, hey, hey," he began briskly, "You guys should ask yourselves, 'Who attacked first? The headmaster or a bunch of idiotic survivors that knows nothing about this special holiday!?'"

At that news, the survivor's anger and frustration turned into confusion.

"Holiday? What holiday?" Norton asked, eyeing the carved, glowing pumpkins on the ground.

"Don't tell me...." The headmaster muttered, "You don't know what today is?"

"It's October 31st, of course," Kurt answered. "Isn't it?"

      Monokuma replied, "And?"

      "Um..."

"What's the holiday?" Monokuma tried again.

      The survivors paused to think....

"Well, I think I do," Eli spoke up, "It's my birthday today."

      Silence....

"You remembered your birthday?" Patricia asked, her eyes widened in surprise.

"Don't you?" Eli replied back before trying to explain, "Not all of my memories are gone since I can read--"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELI!" Emma went up to shake his hand excitedly. "OH MY GOSH, WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO EARLIER?!?!"

"Uh..." The seer looked uncomfortably at her, "I didn't think my birthday really matters?"

"Well now it does!" The gardener beamed. "Isn't that right, Monokuma?"

".... I'm depressed at hearing you guys think this is some silly birthday party..." Monokuma began sadly, "But anyways, I'll give you a hint of what it is. Ask yourself, why did I put pumpkins here and other decorations and try to throw a party here?"

     . . .

     "Eureka!" Kevin's eyes lit up.

"Finally," the headmaster sighed in relief, "Someone else who knows this holiday--"

"It must be 'Thanksgiving!" The cowboy boldly answered.

      . . .

"Because~" Kevin explained, "On thanksgiving day, you throw a party, right? And they do have pumpkins too~"

"How about a holiday that gives candies?" Monokuma tried again the very last time. "It's right in front of you guys, c'mon!"

     . . .

     "Easter?" Margaretha guessed.

     "Christmas?" Demi shrugged.

     "Valentine's day?" Servais proposed.

     . . .

"A holiday that scares others? Like the example I just did?" Monokuma hinted. "Anybody ever heard of the word, 'Trick or Treat?'"

     . . .

"Um, what's a trick or treat?" Lucky Guy asked.

    . . .

"Screw this! I give up!" The headmaster turned red. "It's called, 'HALLOWEEN!' Get it? HALLOWEEN!"

"Ohh," the other survivors finally understood.

"That's a simple answer, alright!" Jose smacked his head with his hands, then asked, "Well, why didn't you say so, Monokuma?"

"Nevermind that!" Monokuma began, "Anyway, for this special holiday, let's all get you guys some costumes to wear!"

     (After that~)

"Oh my, Victor!" Emma began, "You look like absolute adorbs!" She gushed. "Come here kitty-kitty~! Or is it Wolfie-wolfie?"

     Victor shook his head embarrassingly.

"Aye, let's not bother him right now," Emily grabbed hold of Emma's hand as she dragged her away, "Come on, there's tons of food and games we should try out together!"

     "Oh, alright!"

As Victor watched the two besties headed over to the food tables in the main room, he silently stood alone in the corner of the room as he watched the hunters coming in to join the party. Even some survivors were surprised to see the hunters here together, but they didn't mind as they came over to welcome them, and to talk with them.

It was really weird seeing them together for the postman, because he never saw this coming before.... Did Monokuma approve of this? He wondered. Or is this all part of his plan to scare us?

"Hey, I like your costume," The postman heard someone from behind him compliment his outfit.

Victor turned around to find the grave-keeper, Andrew, standing in front of him with his train conductor outfit.

After the first day everyone met each other, Andrew didn't seem so quiet at first, but now... he doesn't seem like he likes talking anymore,
Victor told himself.

Unsure how to properly talk to him, Victor smiled and nodded...

As for Galatea and Robbie, they stopped talking to each other no matter how many times they crossed paths with each other... Nothing else changed between them...

And Burke had managed to complete Bonbon again in some time, so the penguin robot and Robbie spend a lot of time together, making Galatea even lonelier than expected...

     . . .

"Greetings, to you three," Jack the ripper bowed down towards Naib, Eli, and Aesop.

"Um," Naib hesitated, "T-the same goes for you guys, I guess."

(Author's note: Finally found the cure for the mercenary, but will later explain more about that in the next chapter!)

"My name's Jack, so what's your name?" The ripper turned to face the mercenary.

"Naib," the mercenary replied back, trying his best to stay calm. "So, um, about the trial that you watched two days ago, what's with that... uh, glare, that you gave me? Do you have a... grudge against me?"

"Was that a glare?" Joseph questioned behind them. And then he suddenly realized what Naib was talking about. "Oh, nevermind Jack, he's always looking for someone to kill--"

"Kill?" Eli interrupted before quickly recovering, "Ah, not like it's anything-else-to-uh, worry about, right Naib?"

Naib's eyes turned away, "So I'm a target, huh?" He murmured, "Well, there goes my luck of keeping my profile low.... Anyways, I better get going... bye," and he walked away.

Eli and Aesop glanced at each other before following Naib right behind him, leaving the two hunters to watch them go.

"Man, you made me look so bad in front of them, Joseph..."

"Was it my fault that I accidentally told them?"

"You got the wrong idea here, old man!"

     "Hey, I'm not 'that' old!"

Jack sighed, "Either way, there goes my chance of trying to get to know that mercenary well and it's all thanks to your big mouth, jerk."

"Well, it was an honest truth, wasn't it?" Joseph patted the ripper's back. "And you look like a gentleman in disguise."

      "Cut that out."

      "If you say so."

      . . .

      ???'s P.O.V: "mastermind"

(Author's note: I decided to reveal the ???'s title instead of just blank so you won't get confused.)

Everything is going accordingly to plan. Ha..haha... I'm so happy for them~! The moment they realize that hope is somewhere with them... later turns into the reborn of despair! Ha..hahahahaha!

"Forgive me for any interruptions," my comrade began from behind me, "But why did you let the survivors and the hunters get together in one room? Shouldn't the party be separated?"

My smile grew wider into an evil smirk, "Hmph, don't underestimate the true cause of despair, sis." And my eyes decided to land onto the poor little blondie alone by herself in a tight corner, playing with the smaller statues she created to buy some passing time. "Hope is beginning to wither out for a young girl like she~"

      "You mean Galatea?"

"Of course that's what I mean!" I snapped, "And stop being such a waste and bring me some coffee right now! Can't you see that I'm thirsty having to talk to you?"

"Right, I'll get that settled right away!" and I watched her disappear off to retrieve my ordered drink.

To be honest, I rather have coffee than to die hearing my pathetic sister talk about why this is going into plans... Heh, she only joined the despair group because of me! And having to hear her talk about how this was going to work was pretty much pathetic! Ugh! What a dumb excuse to join if she doesn't know a thing about true despair!

"Anyways," my eyes continued to focus on the party. "One minute they would get along with each other and then the next minute, poof! Despair will come and swallowed them up!" I laughed, "A brilliant plan, a brilliant mastermind, the one who's brilliant of them all is ME! HAHA HAHAHA!!!"
