*Finally~ The Final LEVEL Everyone has been waiting for~! Ah, I'm getting carried myself, aren't I? A-ha... Oh well, I guess it's time to let the show begin!*

     Lucky Guy's P.O.V: "?"

As our promises were now settled... It's time for the last class trial...

And without wasting any more time, we all headed into the elevator where it took us to the 4th floor... The Class Trial Room...

"Lucky Guy," Freddy whispered next to me as we walked out of the elevator. "I forgot to ask you, but what is that gadget in your hands for?"

     . . .

Oh, right. I forgot to tell him and the others as well since I was distracted...

"I'll explain it later," I promised to him, still keeping my gaze over to Lisa who was busy studying on the floor as we headed into the center of the class trial room.

"If you say so," Freddy muttered behind me, and I could tell that he was kind of impatient with me keeping secrets away from him again...

I mean, it's not like I have any choice! It's just... Lisa... Oh, wait a minute... Why am I blaming things on her just because she ruined the trust? This is so unlike me, Lucky Guy!

     . . .

"Welcome, welcome, one and all~!" Monokuma cheerfully greeted us from his throne. "Whooo's~ Ready for Despair!?" Adding, "Puhuhuhu, I sure am!"

All of us stared at each other with a mixed-feeling of emotions as we took our stand in the trial grounds.

"Since it's boring to start off without a proper introduction of myself~" Monokuma tilted his head curiously at each other. "I think it's best if I revealed who I am, don't you guys agree?"

"Finally," I heard Demi mumbled close to me.

And without a warning, the atmosphere in the room became darker all of a sudden when flashes of blue and white aura surrounded Monokuma. Though, it was kind of satisfying as it looks like he might explode for some reason...

"What is he even doing?!" Tracy demanded.

"It appears he's going to explode us to death!" Exclaimed Vera, covering her eyes.

"Not likely," Lisa murmured somewhere around me.

"Shut up, traitor!" William shushed her.

"Make me," the gardener eyed him angrily.

But before those two could even argue any longer, Monokuma blew up right in front of our eyes, and everything went white.

     . . .

As smoke descended around the room, I pointed at the shadowy-figure of the mastermind who was standing in the middle of the fog. "The mastermind behind this game is Jun--" And that's when I paused at my words...

It wasn't Junko Enoshima standing where Monokuma used to be...

     It was a different person...

"W-who are you?!" I gasped, my eyes widened to find a high school level girl standing before us. "Why are you here? Where's Junko!?"

"Um, who's Junko?" Emily asked curiously at me, but I didn't have time to explain it to them--

"I saw Junko earlier ago..." Was the only response I could give before turning my attention over to the girl who was dressed in military uniform. She has a short, layered black hair and freckles across her face. Her weird looking tattoo was shown on her right hand and she didn't look that excited to see us...

"It's me, I'm the mastermind behind this game," the stranger corrected me with a cold look on her face. "Mukuro Ikusaba the Ultimate High-School Soldier and the mastermind behind this illusion of Hope Peak's Academy and the manor altogether."

(Author's note: Okay, okay. I know. Were you expecting Junko to appear? Yeah-- I did too! Although, I wanted to change things up a bit since you guys know that Junko ALWAYS appears when she reveals herself. SO why not give her sister a chance? Lol, what am I saying? I enjoy plot twists!

Oh and I want to add something... I rarely, rarely, RARELY know Mukuro... Even though I know her personality a little, I just don't find myself understanding her... So don't go hard on me and tell me that I got her interpretations wrong because I... I have no words to say.)

"M-Mukuro?" Helena raised her eyebrows at the mastermind.

"This is getting a little bit strange," Michiko fanned herself calmly. "So strange..."

"You got that right," I muttered, glancing back-over at Mukuro. "How can you be the mastermind? Wasn't it... Junko?"

Most of everyone's eyes turned over to Lisa for some reason...

"What?" Lisa demanded angrily at us before realizing what we wanted to hear. "Oh... that," she kept her face straight. "Isn't that obvious?"

"You got to know something about this, Lisa," I urged her. "Please? Tell us if she's really the mastermind."

Lisa crossed her arms at me, "And why should I?"

"Well, at least be a little bit nicer since your life is at stake as well," Freddy responded to her, clearly wanting her to remember that we weren't the only one whose life is at risk here, but also her. "Besides, you would know something about this, don't you?"

     "Um..."

"Lisa doesn't know about me," Mukuro interrupted our conversation with a straight look. "She never does, nor did she ever meet my sister even though she's a big fan of her."

"Sister?" Robbie echoed across the room, tilting his head curiously. "You have a sister?"

"Apparently, it seems like she does," Joseph replied to Robbie's confusion. "In a bad way or so."

Mukuro crossed her arms at us, "My sister, Junko has some other important things to do in the outside world, and doesn't have enough time to handle this situation," she explained it to us.

"So you're basically taking your sister's role?" Luca questioned her.

She nodded slowly, "Anyways, enough chit chat," she closed her eyes. "It's time to decide your fate, whether you live... Or you die by the hands of Despair."

"But why are we in a class trial again?" Hastur asked the mastermind.

"Exactly that's where I'm about to explain," the soldier stood firmly on the ground before sitting on the throne. Then she took off her cloak and dropped it on the ground. "Here's a little game for--"

"It was you!" Someone shouted right across from me on the left.

     Huh? What was that about?

We all glanced at who had spoken and we were surprised that the voice... Had definitely come from the coordinator.

"It was you," Martha repeated what she said as she pointed at the mastermind. "You... You were the one who attacked Naib, wasn't it?"

"Ah, so you remembered," Mukuro seemed generally calm at hearing this. "Good eyes, just as I expected from a coordinator."

Wait, what was Martha even talking about? Was it really true? Oh hold on... I remember! The one who tried to attack me and then suddenly ambushed Martha and Naib... It was Mukuro!

Judging by the cloak being removed from herself, I had just noticed the bruised mark on her other shoulder...

It's got to be from the flare fun Martha had shot her, isn't it? Even though I don't entirely remember, I still do, fortunately, hear the flare gun being shot after I fell... So it's true...

"I can't believe it," Naib looked shocked. "You were the devil-mask attacker?"

Mukuro shrugged at us with no emotion on her face what-so-ever. "So what? I don't really care if you know... But I think that's enough," she got up from the throne, staring down at us. "Let us begin the game, in other words... The Final Game."

     . . .

"And what is that 'Final Game?'" Bane brought up a question.

The mastermind glanced at him with a strange look. "It's a simple game, of course," she pointed it out. "A simple game called: Do you want to leave?"

That... That actually sounds a lot easier than I thought it would!

"A-are you serious?" Murro tilted his head at the mastermind. "That... simple?"

"Ha! I think we all can agree on the same idea here!" Tracy sighed in relief.

     "You bet!" Patricia agreed.

"But before you decide on that," Mukuro raised her hands up to stop us from talking. And with a warning, she said, "You may, however, want to reconsider."

"W-what?" Kurt's jaw dropped wide open. "Why?"

     . . .

Y-yeah... That's the problem that I don't understand why we shouldn't... Could there be an explanation as to why Mukuro wants us to reconsider? Or is it just... problematic for us to choose?

"You can leave," she crossed her arms. "After you received your memories back, that is."

     . . .

"And how do we regain our memories back?" Freddy stared cautiously at Mukuro.

"Everybody, close your eyes," Mukuro instructed us.

"What?" Everyone glanced warily at each other.

"Or else you won't go anywhere," the mastermind mentioned. "It's up to you guys."

     . . .

To my surprise, Lisa was the only one who turned away.

"Close your eyes," Mukuro repeated, staring at the traitor.

"Why should I?" Lisa rejected the mastermind's request. "What if I don't want to receive my memories?"

"Lisa," everyone said at the same time. "Just do it."

"Oh, now you guys don't trust me? Fine! Don't say I didn't warn you." Lisa glared at us before closing her eyes, and soon, the rest of us closed our eyes as well...

     . . .

I mean, I get where Lisa is coming from... But in order for us to move on, we must follow the rules of the game...

     At. All. Cost.

    Thanks for reading~! ^-^/

P.S: The next few chapters contain the game. I know it might not sound like much, but trust me, it's going to be way emotional and different. (And I don't think I can successfully write all the survivors and the hunter's backstory, but it's based on that mainly.) And after that~ Huge, huge, decisions... Who knows? Maybe they'll leave... Maybe they won't... Only the future can tell.
