     Aesop's P.O.V: "Embalmer"

     *FLASHBACK*

"So how about it?" I dared Kreacher silently, "Take it and prove your innocence, won't you?"

"Y-you've gone completely insane here, Aesop!" The thief exclaimed, backing into the corner. "Why w-would I do anything to inflict harm on our friend? I just found the cure!"

"I dunno..." I eyed him dangerously, "So what if you did find the cure?" I began, "Isn't that a coincidence... that you did so suddenly?"

Standing somewhere behind me, Naib gently pulled me back away from the thief, and I immediately let myself go as I examined the labels once more... "I don't like talking..." I confessed to him, slowly meeting Kreacher's eyes. "But I also don't like talking to a traitor."

Kreacher took a quick breath, "I take it you don't trust me, right?"

That's when I held the small container of medicine in front of him and he got the gist of it... I wouldn't trust him unless he proves himself... Although, I don't need him to taste the pain he was about to cause... He's already in a lot of trouble...

"Well," I sighed, "If you won't try it then... tell me," I paused, "Where did you get this from?"

"Why should I repeat myself?" Kreacher demanded. "I already told you, I--"

"On a count of 3, you will tell me where you got this from... Understood?"

     "Hey, that's not--"

"...One..." I counted, setting down my briefcase onto the counter.

"You're not listening to me, I--"

"...Two...." I warned, opening up the briefcase.

"Are you trying to threaten me?!"

     . . .

I sighed, "Looks like we have to go through the hard way then..." And I pulled out the toxins, "Three--"

"Wait, let me explain myself first!" Kreacher's eyes widened as he could tell that I wasn't bluffing about this threat that I had come up with. "Unfortunately, I can only give you part of the truth as to why I'm doing this!"

Part of the truth? I thought to myself. Why not spill the entire truth right in front of us? Admit that you're one of the traitors... Or is there something else going on that you can't tell us?

"Go on, I'm listening..." My voice replied patiently, although it wouldn't be patient long enough if he's keeping us waiting.

The thief casually crossed his arms as he stared at the wall, "I was... forced to do this..." He admitted.

     "Forced to do what?"

"Forced to..." Kreacher paused, his expression turned into pain. "Inflict harm, I guess..."

     . . .

When he isn't saying anything more, I began to wonder if he's really stalling for time...

Processing this carefully, I examined the toxins in my hands playfully as a sign of a threat, "Is that all you have to say?"

"Tch!" Kreacher gave in, "Of course! What else do you want me to say?" Then he switched the topic as he demanded, "And how did you know the medicine that I gave to Naib was poison?"

     "Your face."

     "Pardon?"

I shrugged, "It was just a lucky guess... After all, you seemed... kind of off..." I explained, and that's when I remembered something. "You were the first survivor to offer a helping hand to Naib, remember?"

"Yeah, so? What's that got to do with--"

"And," I interrupted him quickly, "And you were the first one to find the medicine... Even though I double-checked that area already before you even mentioned it..."

"W-well, that could be a coincidence...." He suggested, but I wasn't falling for that claim.

"Coincidence? I think not," I shook my head slowly, "You knew that was poison, wasn't it? Isn't that the reason why you hid that inside of your flashlight?"

Hearing this, Kreacher met my eyes with a mixture of emotions between shock and disbelief, but I wasn't done with him just yet when I waited for him to respond to my accusation...

     . . .

"Quiet, aren't you?" I began silently, "Of course, this health room doesn't need a flashlight as you can see," I gestured to the lights above us, "This room doesn't have a speck of darkness in it... Which means, the reason why you pulled out of your flashlight, was because you had the poison hidden inside all along..."

     Silence...

"F-fine," the thief relaxed his grip steadily, "I give up, I admit that I planned to be with Naib so I could finish him off..."

Listening in the back-corner, I could tell that the mercenary didn't want to say anything... He's probably wondering why he trusted Kreacher from the start, is what I'm guessing...

"How could you do this to him?" I asked coldly.

"I-It wasn't my fault!" Kreacher faced me with a painful look. "T-the mastermind made me do this and... he or she promised me a chance to recover all of my memories if I acted as a traitor."

     "The mastermind?" I repeated curiously.

"Y-yeah, 'that' mastermind," Kreacher hesitantly replied. "You know, the one that controls Monokuma."

      . . .

"Why should I believe you?" I tilted my head as we locked eyes.

He rolled his eyes at me, "Then don't believe me, but I'm seriously telling you, I Am NOT the traitor!" Adding, "They wanted me to act as a traitor."

"So you were a substitute?" I guessed.

"Exactly!" He exclaimed. "I haven't met the other traitors yet or know anything about them, so I'm innocent--"

"But that doesn't excuse you," I forced him to listen to me closely. "That doesn't excuse you for what a terrible sin you were about to cause."

"Heh," the thief smirked, "So what's your one-worded answer that you got from your past by Monokuma? Is it that bad compared to mines?" But before I could respond back to his disrespectful question, he continued on, "Ever told anyone that you're the killer?"

     . . .

     The room became silent...

     . . .

      *End Of Flashback*

"Wait, what?" Eli gasped, "Kreacher knows your secret? How?!"

      I responded with a shrug, "I don't really know, Eli... I just--"

"And you even told me about that secret in our room," the seer remembered out loud, "How could he have heard us? Aren't the rooms here sound proof?"

I sighed, but not in frustration. "That's what I thought before... Until I realized something..." I hesitated, "Kreacher shouldn't have heard us talking from the outside of our room, but maybe... he got that from somewhere else?"

"Like, you think he was under the ground, spying?"

      "...Not exactly..."

      "Then...?"

"It's likely that someone told him," I proposed, "Or... he could be lying, either ways, I don't really care as long as I'm living."

Eli gave me a soft smile, "I see, sorry 'bout that..."

      "No worries, it's nothing...."

"So, what happened then? How did you guys find the cure for Naib?"

"Oh... about that... we happened to run into Emily who was coming to check up on us," I answered. "She told us that the 5th round was already done... and that she wanted to see if she could help us."

"Really? Before you were about to hurt Kreacher?"

      "Y-yeah..."

"And did you tell the doctor everything about what Kreacher was planning to do?"

      . . .

"Unfortunately, I didn't," I said with a smile behind my mask. "Because if I did, Kreacher would be in a terrible situation and... I think it's best if we don't tell anybody about this for now, don't you agree?"

Eli seemed shocked at what he's hearing from me, "W-what? Seriously, you're going to let him go, just like that?"

"With a warning, of course," I added. "But no need to worry, he already knows what he has done and if I didn't stop him... He would've been the target in the trials and I would be the witness."

"True, I guess that makes sense... Although, what about Naib?"

      "What about him?"

"Is he going to keep that a secret as well?"

"...Now that you mentioned it, I don't really know..."

Here's a gist of it if you guys are confused: Emily was the one who found the cure for Naib and was able to cure him. Since she is the doctor after all, she knows which medicine to look for, so that sums up how it's useful to have a doctor around... No duh!
