*Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know-- I talk A LOT about the protagonist, don't I? Well, mostly... And sorry I haven't gotten back to the hunter's P.O.V. in a while to be honest. They aren't that important as for right now, but will try to share their side of point of views sooner enough.*

As the others made it back into the main room, I couldn't help but noticed how Monokuma was showing up as late as usual. Must've taken a long time cleaning up the entire decorations from last night all by himself, isn't it?

"Hey, where's Monokuma at?" Margaretha asked everyone, looking around from one side to the other. "Didn't he always meet us here on time?"

"He always does, but I'm not so sure why he couldn't be on time for today," answered Helena as she adjusted her glasses. "Perhaps he's busy?"

Silence rang throughout the room as everybody waited silently for the headmaster to show up... But he didn't...

1 minute of waiting turns into 2 minutes. 2 minutes of waiting turns into 10 minutes. And 10 minutes of waiting turns into 45 minutes...

What's going on? I wondered. Is the mastermind controlling Monokuma sick? Or did something happen back there that we don't know about?

"Something's not right here," I heard someone murmuring in front of me. Curious as to who said that, my eyes darted towards the person in front of me. "He's planning something alright, but what is it? Ah- come on, Lucky Guy! Think!"

     Lucky Guy?

I watched as Lucky Guy kept talking to himself as if nobody around him existed... Not even caring if somebody had overheard his thoughts in public...

    What's wrong with him?

After waiting for about an hour, Monokuma finally showed up...

"Good morning, everyone! Sorry for the wait here!" Monokuma smiled cheerfully, avoiding everyone's annoying and blank stares. "Anyways, I have some good news for you all to share!"

"That you'll finally let us out freely?" Emily guessed, her eyes brimming with hope.

"Not exactly," the headmaster shook his head before returning back to the news. "Unfortunately, due to running out of time here, you guys had finally overcome level 1 and are now promoted to level 2!"

     Everyone's mouth dropped.

"W-what about the hunters?" Melly questioned. "Does that mean... we won?"

"Puhuhu, as a matter of fact," Monokuma chuckled, "You guys won for level 1! Congrats! However," he paused, "There are still four more to go from here, so the winner from both sides haven't been decided yet."

"Finally~" Tracy sighed in relief, "At least we're in the lead alright."

True, she's not wrong... But is that the only option we can take to leave this place? Like Lucky Guy had just said to himself, something is definitely not right about this... And I can't help but agree with him... Even though I am still suspicious of Lucky Guy for sure...

"B-but if we win this game," Emily's eyes glistened with pain. "Then it'll be 'us' who'll cause the hunters to die!"

"So?" The mechanic stared at the doctor with hatred in her eyes. "Who cares about them! What about us?! We'll die too if the hunters win!" Adding to her point, "Not to mention that I'll lose my one and only chance of becoming free and that's why I can't let it happen to me! NO WAY!"

"Geez, calm down for god's sake, Tracy!" Kurt rolled his eyes at her with an annoying look. "We don't need any more tantrums from you, so zip it!"

      "No, you zip it, Meany!"

Before the arguments could be any more hurtful than that, Monokuma intervened with-- "But do you guys want to hear the bad news as well?"

Silence fell throughout the main room for the survivors as all eyes glanced up at the black and white bear on the stage...

"Another bad news?" Vera sighed in frustration, "How much more can we all bear from this?"
