*We're almost done here, you guys! Just less than a few chapters away, and it's the end of this story! Thanks so much for reading this far, you guys are a Legend!*

     Lucky Guy's P.O.V: "?"

"B-b-back to square one!?" Melly stammered uncontrollably after hearing those words from Mukuro. "No way am I going to take a part in this killing game again!"

"Same here," Kurt agreed as well. "I don't want to face my true desires..."

"Whether you want to face your true desires or not," Mukuro reminded us thoroughly. "You're all facing it now within those 3 choices I had given you."

     . . .

She's not wrong about that... No matter if we leave or die, we're all full in despair! But what exactly is the right choice here? If... If we're going to take a part in this killing game all over again... Then... Then 'not' all of us will make it out alive together...

Which means... There is a bad ending to all of these choices...

Although, now that I think about it...

What did Makoto say about never-ever-doing? I'm sure it's got to be the part where Lisa was going to take me to a trap, so that must've been his warning to never take the secret tunnel... But what about the other warning?

     I... I don't think I could remember anymore!

     . . .

"Alright!" Jose put his fist up in the air. "Everyone, tell me your thoughts! Which choices are you going to vote for and don't forget," He began, "We have to be in sync here in order for us to get through one of those choices!"

Servais sighed in frustration, tired of having to hear those words coming from the first officer. "I rather live and see the outside world if it's fake or not."

"I rather take the killing game from 'The Door Of Your Desires'," Lisa glared across from her at Freddy. "So I could take revenge on those who had threatened my family."

"And I guess," Freddy replied back sarcastically. "I'd rather die than get killed by a traitor."

     . . .

W-what's with those guys? It's like everyone has fallen into despair already... No, there must be a way out of this mess! For all of us to have hope... For all of us to face the truth behind this game... There is absolutely no possible way that I could think of to save everyone's lives right now. Not after the others had died during this dangerous game... I... I won't let that happen again!

     . . .

"Hmph! So none of you guys can vote on the same page here?" Burke grumbled. "Then we're all going to die? Just like that?"

"No, that's wrong!" I shouted, forcing everybody to look back at me. "There... There is a way to end all of this mess..." I slowly stared down at the ground.

"W-what the heck are you even saying, Lucky Guy?" Luca glanced at me worriedly. "And what's with that look all of a sudden?"

"You guys will have to move on without me..." I finally said gently, holding back my sadness. "You guys will go to the outside world to live the best and hopefully... End all of this Tragedy without me..."

Hearing this, everyone froze, and none of them looked too happy about that... Even when it means leaving me all alone in despair...

"Y-you're not serious, are you, Lucky Guy?" Robbie's shoulder dropped slightly down. "Tell me you're not being serious!"

"If... If Lucky Guy's going to save his life alone..." Naib began, but was interrupted by the doctor--

"What do you mean he's going to save his life by himself?" Emily's eyes widened anxiously. "Of course he couldn't without our help!"

"That's what I'm trying to say," the mercenary muttered out loud. "Whether we agree or not, how do we know if we could save him?"

That's what I was wondering as well... Like, how could 'The Door of Your Desires' save me from my non-existence? HOW?!

Sensing our confusion, Mukuro sighed. "If you're thinking about 'how,' focus more on 'why.'"

"Why?" Luchino echoed. "Why is that?"

"Hm," the mastermind tapped her chin to think for a moment. "What else could I say? The Door of Your Desires hides a hidden secret... Not even I know about it, except my sister, Junko," she explained. "It might be a trap to lure you guys, yes, but on the other hand, you might find it pretty interesting."

"Interesting?" Tracy rolled her eyes. "Don't take me for a fool! Of course it might be a trap!"

"However," Mukuro ignored her as she continued on. "Just think of it as... Giving Lucky Guy a chance to become existent for once... Unless somebody murders him, that is..."

No... No... I don't want to hear anymore of this! My existence might not matter to those guys, but it matters to me... Besides, there's no point in living if Despair is just breaking me!

"But I don't get it," Freddy shook his head in concern. "I still remember in the beginning when Monokuma told us... I thought we can't all escape together--"

"No, you can't," Mukuro answered confidently. "Those were my sister's rules, after all. Although, since I'm in charge of this trial, I get to decide what those choices are."

     "What choices?" I asked weakly.

Giving me a strange look, the Ultimate soldier puts her hand on her waist again. "If you guys pick the 3rd option, all the hunters and the survivors will live as well, including Lucky Guy... How's that?" Then she warned, "If you guys pick the 2nd option where you guys leave, one side will have to die along with Lucky Guy and Lisa, how's that new rule sound? Better for Despair?"

     . . .

Vera gasped. "Y-you just changed that rule!"

"Yeah, that's not even fair!" Joker agreed.

"No, she didn't," I looked down, defeated. "The rules were kind of well-stated in the beginning when Monokuma told us that either side will have to die depending on its situation there... Until Mukuro decided to add some little slight changes just to make us..."

     Continue this killing game...

"W-wait, you don't mean," Helena opened up her mouth just a little. "Mukuro wants us to keep this killing game going!?"

"What?!" All the hunters and the survivors exclaimed at the same time.

     . . .

Glancing over at Mukuro, I could tell that she wasn't really surprised by our discovery just now. She knew we were going to figure that part out soon... Which is why she wanted to keep that a secret until now...

"Got it right as usual," the mastermind closed her eyes for a second. "I guess I didn't underestimate you guys... Well done. You've finally understood where this is all going at, don't you agree?"

     . . .

I guess we're trapped here once again... Oh, the feeling of despair is overwhelming me! If we don't figure out which path to choose from... We're all going to die together! Is this... Is this how it's going to be? All the attention on despair?! JUST DESPAIR AND NOT HOPE?! Where's hope when we needed it the most? Or is this all for nothing, really?

     . . .

And it wasn't just me who was distracted by despair... The entire room went into a full meltdown before my eyes:

"Let's face it, you guys," Emily cried, "We're never going to find the truth!"

"I'm sick of this place already," Mike crossed his arms. "Let's just give up."

"Give up?" Michiko began, still covering her lovely face with her fan. "More like giving up the beauty of life, isn't that right?"

"What's the point in life and beauty?" Freddy looked away angrily. "We're never going to choose the right ending if we're not on the same page here!"

"Who says we're on the same page?" Yidhra challenged him. "Anybody say that or is it just me?"

"Oh, shut the heck up!" Tracy rolled her eyes with a frustrating look. "Does anybody know how to handle this situation?"

"Well, one thing's for sure," William replied to the mechanic, "Your attitude isn't helping, that's the problem!"

"What the heck are you guys talking about?" Jose demanded. "Aren't we supposed to decide altogether?"

"We are!" Demi shouted as the others continued to argue. "But nobody seems to be paying attention, like what is this? Madness?"

"The one who's more madder than ever should be Burke," Ann grumbled loudly. "He's a mad's eyes after all."

"What does 'madness' have to do with my title?" Burke glared at the disciple. "You're way madder than me!'

"Oh, forget it!" Martha stared desperately at the ground. "We're never going to survive like this!"

"You could say that again," Vera sighed. "I just don't want to be near the hunters."

"What?" Bane reacted first before the other hunters did. "Well, we shouldn't be near you guys! So toxic of you to say such a thing!"

"How is that even toxic?" Eli frowned. "She just started her opinion, didn't she?"

"Off with your heads!" Mary threatened us, although we all knew what that meant....

No matter how many times they all argue useless claims towards one another, this would result in an endless trial...

But still, the others didn't stop... They kept on arguing and arguing, over and over again until... I couldn't hold back myself as I felt my tears fall down my cheeks during the middle of its chaos... And everybody was distracted by each other to even notice my look of despair...

Wishing this was all over... Is just as hard as it will ever be when making our final decisions...
