Their first kiss may not have gone to plan, but it certainly confirmed to Sasuke that he liked it and he wanted more.

A blank-period sasusaku snippet.

(I know that something like this has been done before, but well... I couldn't help myself. Sorry.)

Sasuke had been planning this move for some time now, even going so far as to strategically place them in an exact location at an exact time. But then, his supposedly thought-out plan, had started to go to shit. 'Maybe it's not meant for us to have a first kiss,' he began to think, but quickly shook those thoughts away. 'No, that's stupid. I know that Sakura still feels strongly for me, that she still loves me and I, well I know that I feel for her as well. So then, why is it so hard for me to kiss her? I just want to know what it's like... what she tastes like, what it feels like—'

Now that they had reached the village however, he felt as if his chance had slipped away.

Sasuke decides to observe Sakura's back from behind for a little while, his mismatched eyes drawn to the rounded, white Haruno symbol standing proudly between her two shoulders. His lips pull down slightly and his fist tightens at his side.

The couple weaved their way slowly through the crowded streets, stopping only occasionally for Sakura to glance at a particular item, before deciding to move elsewhere. But his mind was still reeling, his body was coiled with tension.

Sasuke needed to kiss her and he needed to do it now. A quick glance around them and he had a new plan in mind. His stomach twisted slightly, his pulse pounding in his ear drums, but he couldn't force himself to back out now. He was a fucking Uchiha after all... he didn't run away from a challenge.

"Sakura," he called out to his female companion softly and she stopped what she was doing to turn to him; her slightly curious green eyes met his darker one. Without taking the time for much thought he grabbed, then swiftly teleported them behind a nearby cart, effectively shielding them from any of the onlookers with the decorative siding that hung from its rooftop.

Sakura opened her mouth slightly and gasped in surprise, eyes grew wide and she held onto his cloak to steady her shaky legs. "Sasuke, what—"

He didn't give her much time to recover before he wrapped his hand around the nap of her neck, pulling her towards him while tilting her head back with his thumb. He looked at her then (just inches away now) and admired her beauty for all of three seconds before his head bent and their lips connected.

It was as if an electric spark passed between them and her grip on him only tightened, threatening to tear the fabric of his cloak into pieces while she responded rather eagerly to his sudden actions.

Sasuke didn't mind it though as he began to explore her, but when his tongue prodded at the seam of her lips—

Embarrassingly, (for Sakura anyway) she made a mewing sound in the back of her throat, enticing a deep, ruby-red blush to spread its way across not only her cheeks, but down the sides of her neck and past the collar of her shirt. She quickly makes an excuse when he parts from her and turns her back, but he doesn't miss the beautiful sight and it is now permanently etched into his memory, all thanks to his family's visual prowess.

As they make their way through the throng of villagers who are going about their daily lives (as if the most amazing thing in the world hasn't just happened) his mind begins to wonder.

'I'm curious, what other noises I can bring forth from those beautiful, rosy lips,' he thought with a small grin.
