Broken-hearted with nothing left to lose, Sakura walks out of her old life the following morning; leaving not only her friends and family, but also him behind in order to pursue her dreams.
She will make him regret breaking her heart, but will she ever truly be able to forget about the love she once held for Uchiha Sasuke? Especially when they unexpectedly meet again and he seems more soft and kind towards her than she ever remembered.
A sasusaku AU snippet. Maybe short updates; not sure on the length yet. Angsty & sad. Conflict & resolution. Hurt & healing. Slow-burn. True-love never really lost. Probably'll have 18+ content. Might turn into a full story... and not just short little snippets... but I've got so many unfinished ideas already, so we will see. (UNEDITED!)

Graduation Day"Congratulations, Sakura! We are so proud of you...," her Mom cooed joyously while she pulled the young graduate into a tight hug. Her Dad stood to the right of them, smiling proudly at his two favorite people. Sakura laughed as she gently pushed her overbearing Mom away to arms length. "My sweet little baby angel is all grown up!!! Next you'll be going off to college... and then getting married and having babies of your own. It's all— it's just too much!!!"
"Come on, Mom. Don't cry. It's not like I'm going anywhere anytime soon." Her mother swiped at her tears and smiled as her father took her place and wrapped his arms around his youngest offspring. Their union was much shorter lived and she stood back from them with an affectionate smile that spread across her cheeks. "I just graduated, guys. It's not the end of the world."
"Oh, I know. You told us you were going to do an interview with Uzumaki Corp, but that doesn't mean I can't get a bit emotional about my only daughter's graduation."
"The interview isn't even for a prestigious position. It's just for a receptionist position... nothing serious. Just to get by during the summer, while I figure out my game plan for the next year or two." Her Mom waved her hand dismissively.
"Still dear, it was sweet of the Uzumaki's to lend you their complete support during this transition." Sakura rolled her eyes at her Mom's statement, barely holding back a snort. Right, because she was sure this interview had absolutely nothing to do with her Mom's connection with Naruto's; nor the fact that both of their mother's were struggling with the idea that they might 'lose their precious babies soon.'
Deciding that it wasn't worth arguing her point any further, at least not tonight, Sakura returned her gaze towards the crowd; searching for someone familiar.
It didn't take her long to find him, and a small blush began to dust her cheeks a rosy-pink hue when she came to the conclusion that he must have either been searching for her as well, or perhaps had been watching her for a while now.
When their eyes met, the pinkette gave him a soft grin and a quick wave. His parents both stood to his right, speaking with the Nara's while his brother, Itachi, typed away silently on his phone next to them; probably trying to fortify some sort of business deal or something. He was always a very busy man.
She quickly found an excuse to leave her parent's side and began to make her way towards her boyfriend.
As she approached him, he gave her a tight grin; his dark, piercing eyes telling her a whole story. Her smile vanished instantly, and her heart sank to the pit of her stomach. She worried her bottom lip between her teeth as she came to a stop a few feet away from him. "Sasuke, what's wrong?"
