Me and Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy for 5 months now. His meeting my family today, which I'm excited for and his nervous since he thinks they won't like him cause of his job. I pull on a skirt, jumper and knee high boots. I pull my hair into a ponytail and do light make up.
"Hey, your ready" said Edouard. "I am, are you?" I ask. "I am" said Edouard. I grab my bag and we get in his car. He drives to my parents house and he parks. "What if they don't like me?" asked Edouard. "They will and even if they do, I will stick by you. I feel happy with you. You show me love and I will love you forever, I hop you know that" I said. "I do because I love you too" said Edouard. We share a kiss and go inside. "Mum, dad we're here." I said. They walk out and they look at him.
"You play for Chelsea" said dad. "I do, sir" said Edouard. "OK" said dad. We sit down and we have our dinner. "So, how much time do you spend with our daughter during training and football season?" asked mum. "A lot of times, usually after training I'll go to her house to hang there and after matches that are near her house" said Edouard.
"How many girls have you dated?" asked dad. "One. We were dating since we were 14 but we broke up two years ago" said Edouard. "Right" said dad. I look at Edouard, he looks nervous. I place my hands on his thigh and he smiles. "Um.... where are the toilets?" asked Edouard. "Down the hall" I said. He goes to the toilet and dad looks at me. "We don't like him. His too spoilt" said dad. "Dad! No his not! He worked hard for his job, he made sure he got to the level he wanted." I said. "I do not care! You will leave him!" said dad. I jump up and look in his eyes. "If you do not accept this, I will never, ever come back." I said. "Fine. Get out" said dad. I spot Edouard and I walk over. "We're leaving" I said. We leave and get to my house.
We sit down and Edouard sat beside me. "What happened?" asked Edouard. "My parents don't like you and I didn't want to hear it. I'm never going back" I said. "Baby, don't let our relationship get in the way of your relationship with your parents" said Edouard. "Ed, I love you. They never like my boyfriends and it doesn't matter. If they don't want me to be happy, I won't be there for them" I said. He nods and kisses me.
"Plus, your family love me, so I have a family" I said. "You do." said Edouard.
Edouard proposed to me and of course, I said yes. Now it's our wedding day.

Edouard's dad, Matthew walks over. "You look beautiful" said Matthew. "Thank you, Matt" I said. He smiles and we go get ready. I watch my friends walk down the aisle and I smile. It's soon my turn and Edouard looks amazing. He has tears in his eyes. I hug Matthew and take Ed's hands. "You look amazing" whispered Edouard. "So do you, Ed" I whisper back.

We've been married for 8 years now, we have three kids. Penelope Rue, Parker Rian and Poppy Rae Mendy. Their triplets, which we were shocked to hear at the scans.
