NAME: Yassmin

You go to Doha to support him

Your POV:

My husband plays for Uruguay and has their final match today. His annoyed because they drawed and lost their last two matches. I was there and he was devastated. I was too, they deserved a chance to shine but theri last match is today. This morning, I found out I'm pregnant and I'm excited to tell him. Hopefully it cheers him up after the match.

I pull on my Darwin jersey and a loose pair of pants. I pull on sandals and I smile. I pull my hair into a bun and decide to leave my face bare. I go meet Bibiano Núñez and Silvia Ribeiro, Darwin's parents.

We head to the stadium and sit down at our seats. Silvia hands me water. "To keep you hydrated, Yassmin" said Silvia. "Thank you, I would have gotten it" I said. "Nope. We promised to keep you safe, Darwin would want that" said Bibiano. I smile and thank them.

The teams come out and we sing the national anthem. Soon it gets underway and Ghana has more control over the ball and I'm scared that we may lose.

Once it gets to half-time, it's 1-0. Ghana is in the lead and we're just upset because the team wants to go through but it's just difficult.

When the game starts, we just watch Ghana score two more goals before full time. I clap because Uruguay did well and Darwin comes over after clapping for the fans. He walks over, hugs his parents and then kisses me. "You did good, baby" I said. "No, we didn't" said Darwin. "You tried and that's all you can do." I said. He sighs. I hand him a box. "Open" I said. "We didn't win. I don't deserve a present" said Darwin.

"Just open it" I said, urging him on. He does and then gasps. "Your pregnant" said Darwin. I nod, smiling. We share a kiss and we go back to the hotel.

Nine months later we had a baby girl, Camille Jo Darwin.

Uraguay may have not won the World Cup, Darwin won something better, a daddy's girl!

I hope you enjoyed!

It's short but I like it!
