PT. XXIX

Narrator

After classes and club activities, Y/n returned home without Haerin.

Haerin's friends would be walking her home after school.

"Y/n-ah!" Brother Yoongi yelled throughout the house.

"Yeah?!" Y/n-ssi yelled back while they played video games in their room.

"There's no more avocados for frog!" Yoongi yelled back.

"Kay, I'll go buy some right now!" Y/n-ah responded.

- Y/N POV -

I grabbed my jacket and headed out of the house to buy avocados.

When I walked out the front door, I found Karina standing outside the fence.

"What the hell is she doing here?" I thought to myself.

"Hi," She softly said.

"Hi," I responded a bit hesitantly.

"Heard your girlfriend is getting ready popular at your new school," Karina responded.

"Is that what you came here to say," I coldly responded.

"Ugh, nevermind!" Karina hissed out and started to turn around.

"Karinan, just say what you came here to say!" I scoffed out.

Karina turned back to face me and took a step closer to the fence. She hesitated before whispering.... "My dad got deployed again."

Karina's dad is in the military so she's always missing him.

Before we broke up, Her dad had promised her that he would get discharged. So, I understood why she was upset.

I didn't really know what to say...
so it just got quiet.

Suddenly, I saw Haerin standing to the side. She dropped her head and then went around Karina to get through the fence.

Haerin looked at me for a second then walked towards the house.

- Haerin POV -

When I got home from school, I found Y/n-ah and Karina-ssi standing outside the house.

I didn't want to interrupt them so I decided to just walk around them and try to head into the house.
