Chapter 173

    Kristin looked at me hesitantly, and then she smiled and nodded. "Of course, my love." She responded and got up. She curtseyed and then she took my hand as the lyrics started. "We're no strangers to love~" The song played and I placed my right hand on Kristin's waist as she placed her left hand on my shoulder.

    "You know the rules, and so do I~" We started waltzing and turning in circles and Kristin laughed. "Phil, I'm too old for this..." She said with a laugh. I looked at her and grinned. "A full commitment's what I'm, thinking of~" The song continued. "And? Come on, doesn't this remind you of the 80's?" I said and she laughed. "You wouldn't get this from any other guy~," The song said. "Yes, it does." She said and I smiled.

    "To be honest, you really wouldn't get this from any other guy," I said and she rolled her eyes jokingly. "Really?" She asked. "I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling~," The song said and I nodded as I stared into her dark brown eyes. "Gotta make you, understand~" I sang with the song as Kristin rolled her eyes. She knew what was coming.

    "Never gonna give you up!" I said as I let go of her waist and spun her around. She went along with it and laughed as I spun her. "Never gonna let you down!" I gently grabbed her other hand and let go of her right hand. "Never gonna run around," I sang as I gently pushed her to my other side. She quickly pecked my lips as she passed and I smiled.

    "And desert you!" I laughed as she spun around while holding my hand. "Never gonna make you cry~," The song said and we started waltzing again for a few seconds. "Never gonna say goodbye~," The song said. "Ready?" I asked, and she nodded with a smile. "Ready." She said. "Never gonna tell a lie~" I quickly spun Kristin around me and caught her by her waist.

    "And hurt you!~" I leaned down and gently kissed Kristin. We pulled apart after a few seconds and continued dancing. After the song ended, Kristin flopped onto the bed. "Jesus Christ, Phil-" She huffed as she tried to catch her breath. I laughed and sat on the bed next to her.

    "It was worth it!" I said as I tried to catch my breath too. She nodded with a small laugh. "Now that, it was." She said with a smile. We stayed like that for five minutes. "So, what do you want to do?" I asked as I looked at her. She hummed as she stared at the ceiling.

    "Well, I am exhausted because of that little stunt you pulled," She said as she stared at me with a jokingly accusatory glare. I laughed and pet her head. She scoffed and rolled her eyes, but a smile was present on her face. "But you should go check on Wilbur and Techno to see what they're doing... You all have to leave in a bit anyways." She said, and I nodded. I let out a small groan as I got up. Kristin grinned.

    "Old man." She said teasingly. I rolled my eyes. "You're older than me!" I said and she scoffed. "Yeah. Sure." She said, and I groaned. "Really, Kristin?" I asked and she grinned. "Yup!" She said and I rolled my eyes with a smile. I gave her a small peck and then stood up. "Well, I should go now, huh?" I asked, and she nodded.

    "Yeah..." She said, a hint of sadness in her voice. "This will probably be the last time I see you today, so here," I said as I gave her another peck. She smiled and gave me a peck in return. I headed to the door and watched as she readjusted herself on the bed so she would be more comfortable. "Bye, Kristin!" I said as I opened the door and stepped outside. Before I closed the door she responded and I smiled.

"Bye, Phil!"
