Artemis! Pick up your damn phone, it won't stop ringing!" once I heard that obnoxious voice from my brother, I shove my face into my pillow in frustration and groaned. I get up quickly and run over to my phone and see Serena is calling, I pick it up immediately, she knows I have work today.

"Hello?" there's a clear rasp in my voice, indicating I just woke up.

"Sorry did I just wake you up? My bad, well since you are already awake, I'm hoping you
Would help me pick out a dress tomorrow for Brandon's birthday? We both know how indecisive I am, pick ya up at 10:30. What do you say my best friend in the entire world." I could just imagine the puppy face she's making behind the screen. "Alright fine, just don't spend 5 hours there"

"Cuídate hermano," I tell Apollo while he is asleep because he would have slapped me if he was awake and then I quickly make my way to my car. My brother has a later shift at the hospital, I'm surprised he hasn't gotten up early for his jog in the mornings.

I don't get along with anyone on my team except my captain, they're all like a little family and I'm just there to do my job. Do I care that they don't like me? No, will I ever care? No, to them I'm just an egotistical asshole who thinks they're better than everyone else, honestly, I'm not. I don't fit in, and I never will, people come and go, they don't need to know my life, it's as simple as that.

I guess you can say I'm a station hopper. Never been in the same firehouse for more than three years, let's say so far it's been three, I'm just hoping that this isn't going to be number four.

As I make my way into Firehouse 136, I can see everyone with a smile on their face, must be my unlucky day. "Gee, what are you guys on? Coke? It's like the Smile movie up in here." as I'm getting changed into my uniform, the bell starts ringing, and here we go again.

3 hours later......

"Hey! We could use a hand up here!" I say to two firefighters on a boat, hoping to get some help, I have no equipment on me to do anything. I would have never expected to be stuck on top of a Ferris wheel, or even be in a tsunami. "Alright grab an extra harness, rope, pulleys, and figure eight plates. I coordinate evac and transport some down here." I hear what I'm assuming his captain is telling him. "sound like a plan cap." The guy says.

The firefighter starts to climb up, the metal bars, while trying to be very careful about where he's grabbing to lift himself. while others were being helped, all of a sudden the Ferris wheel started to shake, there we were holding on to dear life.

"That's not part of the ride." The brown-haired firefighter said. "No, the spokes are coming off the hub, these things have been thrashed." I try to find a way to hold on without slipping. "What about you? Are you hurt?" He asks me. "No, and neither is he." We both looked at the man who was scared for his life, holding onto the pole. "I'm not going anywhere, not until the waters gone." The sacred man shakes his head in response.
