Those words managed to my mouth, it hurt to laugh or anything, I was surprised they understood what I said. Was I lying? Definitely not but they've gone long enough without hearing my voice. "Holy shit, your awake." Apollo says with a big smile on his face, "bitch you thought I was dead." It hurt to laugh but I didn't care, each of them hug me one by one except buck, he was just grateful I was even alive. "We're gonna go raid the cafeteria, we'll back." Andreas said, "hey you, ya missed me?" I said to buck, it was a struggle to keep my eyes open but I tried my best. "You have no idea." He presses a light kiss on my lips, our foreheads were leaning against each other until I remembered a certain someone. "Wait, how's Eddie?"

"Doing okay, He's awake." Bucks words were comforting especially his voice, oh man did I find that so hot. "That's good, how bad is it? And be honest cause once I gain back my energy I will kick your ass if you lie to me." I was tired but I'd rather be talking to buck than sleeping, what the hell was wrong with me? Why would I ever give up sleep for a guy? "It's nice again to hear your threats, they got the bullet out but it took a while for them to do it but they said you should be fine." I nod my head lightly until I see a group of people coming in.

"Well look who just woke up, how ya feeling Artemis?" I sigh and look at my shoulder slowly, "like I've been shot, second time is not the charm, that's for sure but I'm used to this pain by now." It wasn't the appropriate time to laugh but I didn't care. Hen placed the flowers she got me on the table, "oooh I like flowers." I giggle, Once I start waking up a bit more, I start to feel the pain my arm, the bullet got me really good. The nurse comes in with more pain meds, I started getting more loopy. "Now that is out of the way you two need to start explaining." Hen says, I look over and buck he couldn't manage to look me in the face. "What's she talking about buck?"

"They.... Uh kinda know now." My eyes go directly to them then to buck. "That's funny actually, um I will explain that when theses pain meds wear off. whatever they have me on right now, oh I love this shit. Did the police know which asshole shot me and Eddie?" Bobby speaks up, "Athena is working on that case right now, you two are in good hands. You and Eddie weren't the only ones, it's 5 firefighters including you two." I smile with my eyes closed. "No need to convince me cap, but if she finds whoever did this I'm going to break there kneecaps." The rest of them go check up on Eddie while my brothers and buck were still in my room. The sleep soon overcame me, I was thankful they didn't ask me what I felt during that time. I was scared and I still am, they are so going to send me to therapy, I just have to play the basic I'm doing better now act, I should of been an actor when I had the fucking chance.

Police station...

"I heard the ballistics report from our shell casing came in." Athena was still working with detective Denver's to solve this case. She was determined to find out who shot Artemis and Eddie, among the other firefighters who were shot. "They didn't send in a report, they sent in him." Denver's points to a familiar person in an office, "chief pate?" Athena says. "Sergeant, close the door." He begins to explain the casing that they found, they would of never suspected a thing if it wasn't for Athena's ambition. "The casing you found was from a 309-caliber round. Fits what a sniper would use and matches the slugs from both scenes. The ammunition was match grade, more accurate, more expensive and much more tractable. Down to the lot number, ballistics reached out to the manufacturer to identify the purchaser. Then they called me." Chief pate says
