"We agreed to text each other, then meet up." I nodded my head as I was eating, "well I mean you can always just conveniently forget to text her." My eyebrows furrowed and I scoffed. "He's not gonna ghost her, buck." I'm glad chim was thinking the same as the rest of us. "Don't listen to his nonsense, don't ghost her no matter how much you don't want to be there." I rolled my eyes at buck, "yeah and she already texted me. You guys don't understand, Vanessa's Tia cuca is in on this, too. That's the combined power of two tias. That's huge, now I gotta learn how to let her down

Although being forced to fake date my girl best friend was the highlight of the week." I put my hand on my chest and smile until I realized something.
"Nuh uh, you dumped me over text remember? I'm still healing from that because it was a traumatic moment. Who breaks up with someone with emojis?" They all laughed but I was still deeply hurt. "Maybe you're just anxious about said performance." Hen said, Eddie couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Anxious? Who's anxious?" He tries to act clueless, of course he was nervous, it was written all over his face. "Tia number three has entered the chat." Buck was busy laughing his ass off, while chim and I high five one another, he wasn't wrong at all. "First of all, 99% of any first date, arranged or otherwise. Is a performance, so get over yourself. Second it's okay to feel nervous. Vanesa is probably at work right now panicking too." Hen reassures him. "Tuff love." Point to hen and she nods her head. "You two are being ridiculous, I don't panic."
Everyone stopped taking until Bobby placed a chocolate cake on the table, "cap, for me? It's not even my birthday." Chim jokes around. "Seriously cap, what's all this." Buck waves his hand in a circles. "Nothing, nothing at all." Usually Bobby is cool as ice but this was definitely weird as hell. "Oh! Before I forget, everyone, this week. I'll be see you all individually for your annual review and remember it's not LAFD policy.
