It was my day off, I promised Eddie I'd be the adult to watch Buck and Chris while he had a date with Ana, and I was more than happy to do it. Eddie needs a little love in his life not that Christopher isn't enough, he's more than enough but he needs a bit of adult time. "You're late," Buck says. I was mostly cooking for them and cleaning up while Buck entertained Chris.
"There was construction on sunset, had to take a detour. Christopher already in bed?" Eddie sets his keys down while he starts to get comfortable after a long day. "Oh yeah," Buck says.
"You're a miracle worker," Eddie says. "Not really, Actually I was an excellent negotiator, I was the one who promised him he could hang out with Santi." Eddie laughs while Buck rolls his eyes at me. "Uh, how- how- how was the uh the big date?"
"It was nice, she taught me math." me and buck looked at each other at the same time, confused. "What is that how you guys foreplay? I mean as long as you're happy Eddie." I grab my bag and my car keys but Buck stops me, "How about you come over to my place?" Buck says seductively in my ear, I either love or hate it, I can't tell. "Ugh fine, but I can't stay the night, Apollo will freak on me." we leave and get inside my car. When we get there to Buck's apartment, he trips over something on the ground and notices a bra on the floor. He looked at me innocently while I was ready to punch him. "Hey buck, what are you doing home? Artemis is that you? We thought you were babysitting."
"The one and only." Albert turns on the lights and we see all these clothes on the ground, women's clothes too. "wait, uh, we?" a girl comes out of nowhere and he says high to buck, mostly out of breath. "Veronica, hi. I uh didn't expect to see you here, in my apartment." Buck looks back at me to see my expression and I chuckle. "Oh, we're doing some laundry and Netflix and chilling," Albert says. "How domestic." she rips her bra out of Buck's hand. "Uh, we should order in, maybe Thai? You love Thai."
"Uh, yeah, thanks, I think I rather just stay out all night." Buck pushes me out the door with him and we get inside my car. "Well uh that was entertaining to watch, let guess she's the girl you went out with yesterday." he quickly responds "Correction, forced to go out with, she's not you and she also lives across from me. It's like I can't sleep in peace without Albert bringing different girls, chimney struggled with the same thing."
"Honestly buck you are never getting your apartment back, woman-free at least. We can go to my place but my brothers and Serena may-" he shakes his head. "Anything is better than being in my apartment right now." _________________________________
We were on a call, a man was on someone's roof waving a gun, and all we could do was wait for something to happen. "Why don't they just storm the roof? It's not that high, we can give 'em a ladder." chim suggests. "It's a tactic negotiators use to drag out the process to wear down the suspect. Eventually, they hit their breaking point."
"Or we do, might as well put me up there to negotiate. Ten bucks says he falls right off that roof." Eddie also decided to bet on this guy, "20 says he makes a leap for the tree." Bobby looks at both of us. "C'mon the guys probably got one more bad choice left in him." chim and Eddie hand me money and I take it. One hour in, Eddie asks me if I've seen Buck and I look around to see him talking to the redhead reporter, Taylor Kelly, looks like she's back in town. "Now calm down you, buck is all yours."
