it was loud. not too loud, but very, very loud. jimin was used to it, though. he worked as a dj at an underground club in daegu, filled with pounding music, hardcore rappers, and alcohol. every night, before the club opened at eleven thirty, a new rapper would call jimin, to him what music tracks to play during their set. tonight, over the phone he heard a soothing deep voice with a slight lisp, who had requested a set of five tracks in total.

so after an hour of the club opening for the night and filling to the brim with people, a boy walked in though the back. he was around jimins height, maybe a bit taller, and had a black beanie pulled over his blonde hair. he nodded to jimin and he got a nod in response as jimin simply handed him a microphone and turned to his turn tables. "hey guys! is everybody having a good time?" jimin yelled from where he stood behind his many turn tables in the middle of the club. he waited for a uproar of cheers before continuing, "like always, we have live music tonight! here we go!" jimin yelled before starting up the first track.

the music pounded, the crowd jumping to the loud beat. the boy emerged from the back only seconds later, immediately starting to spit complex lyrics into the microphone in hand. he was good. really good. his lyrics were quick and steady, flowing together perfectly as they ran with the beat. he moved around on the stage as if it was natural to him, arms moving and body walking from one side to another, managing to hype the crowd up even more than it already was.

jimin was mesmerized. he watched the way the boys lips moved, and eyes closed while pouring out his words. the beat turned in to background noise as jimin stared at the boy fondly. thats why he almost forgot to switch to the next track when the first one had finished. almost. at the last second he snapped himself out of it, fingers moving quickly to switch beats. when the second one started up, sending the crowd into yet another uproar, jimin stayed focused this time. he enjoyed the sound of the boys songs, nodding along to the beat as his fingers moved expertly, adjusting the volume and frequency every so often.

after the boys set was over, it would be another half an hour before jimin would see him again. he was probably at the bar having a drink, or dancing along with the many other people to the songs jimin was playing. either way, when he did come back, he handed jimin the mic politely, and handed him a crumpled piece of paper as well. before smiling slightly and pushing the back door open to walk out into the night air. once the door closed behind the boy, jimin made sure a song was still playing and placed the mic in its place before opening up the paper.

hey, i know you dont know me, but your really hot. also, i scrambled all through this fucking club to find a paper to write this to you on, which was damn hard. so you should call me sometime. (his number)

-Min Yoongi

jimin pursed his lips, trying to keep from smiling. he then nodded quickly to himself before adding yoongis number to his phone and going back to his job for the night. 'now that i think about it, he was hot as hell too!' jimin thought to himself as he walked home at the end of the night, hands stuffed deeply in his pockets, one still clutching the ripped paper.
