(a/n happy new years/new years eve my precious little buns..im calling you all that now apparently. this is sorta short, but the next one is already written and i really like it so stay tuned for thAT!!)
"hey look, jimin! its your boyfriend, min yoongi!" taehyung said, louder than necessary. jimin leaned onto the table and hid in his arms from embarrassment. "what the hell, tae?" jimin angrily whispered, making taehyung try and hold in his laughter. jimin didnt want to raise his head up, afraid that his cheeks were still burning red. "sorry, jiminie, but you really do need to talk to him at some point." taehyung said sincerely, before laughing again. "but you shouldve seen your face!"
"he dates lots of guys, tae. i dont think he would be interested in me if he can pick anyone." jimin sighed loudly, finally picking his head up to look at his best friend. taehyung ruffled jimins hair affectionately, "c'mon, jiminie. i bet he'll love you!" taehyung said, trying his best to encourage jimin. he really did mean his words, though. "i- i dont know.." jimin mumbled shyly, thinking about just how many things could go wrong. "well, i do!" taehyung suddenly exclaimed as he dragged jimin up and and out of his seat, before he marched him all the way to where yoongi was standing.
"sorry, jiminie. just try not to say anything stupid." taehyung whispered to jimin before sprinting in the opposite direction, leaving him right in front of min yoongi. jimin wanted nothing more than to kill taehyung right now. taehyung had practically dragged him, leaving his hair a mess, and now he can see yoongi just staring straight at him in confusion. "i- we- and then- he- well- im sorry-" jimin sputtered out, eyes locked on his shoes. yoongi smiled fondly, still looking directly at him. "you okay there, jimin?" he asked, chuckling lowly. jimin could hear his heartbeat in his ears. 'did he just say my name? wait- he knows my name?!' jimin thought to himself.
"i- yeah im- im fine," jimin managed to get out, "you- you know my name?" he then added hesitantly. yoongi chuckled again at how cute jimin looked when he was flustered. "course i do! your one of the best dancers at this damn school." he said to jimin, making jimin want to throw up from over joyfulness. "th-thank you.." jimin said to him, trying his best to meet his gaze. yoongi stayed silent for a moment before speaking up again, "i'll walk you to class then, yeah?" yoongi said to him, straightening up. jimin nodded slowly, "o-okay.. you dont have to, though." yoongi didnt say anything in response, just pulled jimin gently by his arm to start their walking.
"hey yoongi! your class is this way!" yoongis close friend, hoseok, called to him while walking by the pair. yoongi turned his head slightly to answer him, "i'm walking a cute boy to class, hoseok, leave me alone!" yoongi laughed teasingly. hoseok just shook his head jokingly and gave yoongi a thumbs up before making his way to class. "you dont have to walk me all the way, yoongi." jimin said quietly, trying to ignore how he had just called him cute. "i want to, jimin." yoongi said almost immediately.
when they finally made it to jimins class, just on time, yoongi turned his way. "i'll meet up with you later or something, yeah? i mean, if you want to." yoongi said to him, glancing briefly at the clock that was hung in the school hall. jimin nodded, and mustered up his brightest smile before thanking him. just before yoongi ran off in the direction of his own class in an attempt to not be late, he planted a soft kiss on jimins right cheek. 'keep it together, jimin.' jimin thought to himself while watching yoongi run to class, 'you dont want to faint in front of the entire class.'
"so how'd it go?" taehyung asked jimin as he took his seat beside him, not really paying much attention to the board in front. jimin looked at taehyung, a look of dizzy, head over heals, affection on his face. "lovely. it went absolutely lovely." jimin said breathlessly, making taehyung nudge him in the arm while laughing. "see! i told you!" taehyung exclaimed, making the teacher turn in their direction. "kim taehyung, please keep quiet unless you want another detention. that goes for you too, mr. park." she said sternly in their direction. jimin didnt really hear, though. the only thing on his mind was yoongis light hair and the pretty look in his dark eyes.
