Roomies

Chapter 10

Niall's POV.


I walked into the flat with a small bag in my left hand.

When I entered the flat, the first thing I saw was shirt on the floor, a guy shirt.

I walked further into the flat and saw in the livingroom that one of the vases, the one next to the couch, was on the floor, broken. I cussed under my breath and walked over to my bedroom and opened the door.

Niall: What the fuck?

I saw all the clothes and stuff in there that wasn't mine and it got me a bit confused, was she renting out to someone else already??

Niall: Stella?!

I called after her but she didn't answer, I saw her leave the club and I saw Louis go with her.

They weren't at Louis place so they had to be here, or atleast she had to. I hoped she was alone, I don't know what I would do if Louis Was here too.

Just as I had walked out of my (old) bedroom and gotten over to hers to knock, I heard something in the hallway and stopped myself from knocking on the bedroom door.

I walked back out to the hallway as the bathroom door opened and the light from the bathroom lit up the entire hallway.

Niall: Stel?

I said and she must have not seen me there because she jumped and made a squeaky noise, which made me smile a bit as I turned and flipped the light switch on.

She had one of her hands on the top of her hair, holding the towel there and the other hand was holding the towel around her body, she looked stupendous and petrified at the same time.

Stella: Hi... how did you get in?
Niall: I still have the spare key.
Stella: Right, well what are you doing here then? You can't use your old bedroom to fuck Keli right now.
Niall: No I saw that, you've already rented it out to someone else.

She shook her head and walked pass me into the livingroom, I walked after her and I couldn't help but look down at her towel covered bum, it still looked hot and firm.

She put her hand on the handle to her door then turned around and looked at me.

Stella: Did you need something? I bet Keli is waiting for you somewhere.
Niall: It was nothing, forget about it.

She sighed and turned around to open the door, I turned around to and the bag in my hand made that plastic sound, making me realize that I did actually come here for a reason, not only to spook her in the hallway.

Niall: Wait..

I said and turned back around, the door was open halfway now and she looked inside then back at me, she looked nervous.

Niall: I.. here.

I handed her the bag and she let go of the door to open it. Then she looked up at me with a questioning expression.

Stella: What's this?
Niall: Well you said that it's your birthday so I got you that.



Stella's POV.


I took the small box out of the bag and judging by the size of it, I think I already kind of knew what it was.

And as I opened the wrapping around the box, Niall confirmed my suspicions.

Niall: It's one of those small plastic animal things that you collect.

He said and I looked up at him and couldn't help but smile.

I had no idea that he knew that I collected those small animals from "animal planet", it's a hobby that I've been doing for years and I got my first animal from my grandmother and then I just kept going, buying a new one whenever I saw one.

I had about 28 of them now, well 29 with this one from Niall.

I took it up from the box and saw that it was identical to one of the ones I already had, but it didn't matter, the thought alone was nice.

Stella: I..
Niall: You're welcome. I'll leave again.
Stella: I haven't rented out your room Niall, my brother is crashing there.
Niall: I didn't know your brother was in town... oh wait, is he one of the dudes from earlier?
Stella: Yeah, Jacob.
Niall: And who is the other one?

Just as I was about to answer his question, a sound came from inside my room.

He looked over to the door and I closed my eyes for a second, hoping that he hadn't heard.

Niall: You got company?

I nodded and opened my eyes again, looking at him. He just bit his lip and looked back at me.

Stella: I should...

I gestured back into my room and Niall nodded and turned around to leave the livingroom.

Stella: Thanks for the present, I appre-

I didn't get to finish my sentence before I heard the front door close.

I took a deep breath then walked back into my bedroom. I walked over to my closet and opened the two doors, taking out a shirt to sleep in as I felt a hand on my waist.

I closed the door closest to the mirror on the wall and looked at Louis through the mirror. He looked back at me and kissed my shoulder.

Louis: that was... okay.

I looked down to the box that was still in my hand and smiled then turned around and looked at Louis.

Stella: okay?

He nodded and I walked pass him over to the desk, I put the box with the animal down as I took the shirt over my head and let the towel around my body fall to the floor.

Louis was back in bed and I walked over to my makeup table, grabbed a hairband and flipped my head upside down, took off the towel around my hair and put it into the hairband, then flipped it back over again as I walked over to the bed and sat down on top of the covers Louis was lying under.

I looked at him and he gave me a small smile.

Louis: Yeah for a virgin, it was okay.
Stella: Okay...

Louis turned around and fell asleep within seconds. I laid down on top of the duvet and turned my back against him.

I had just done the one thing I said I wouldn't do with anyone until I was inlove with that person... and I just did it with Louis just because I saw Niall and Keli being all lovey dovey at the club.

But it's okay, things will be okay, I'm just... okay.
