An Unexpected Love (San E Ambw)

New Years Day

Angela's POV

So it's already the 31st of December, we've decided to spend New Years with just both of us bands. Good way to start a new year. I also invited San because I feel like it's for the best of us to move forward. Our show started at 8-10. So the other two hours, we'll spend at my house.

Time Skip
After the show, we went straight to my house where everything is prepared. The drinks, food, video games, and a lot of stuff. We dressed in our normal clothes out of our costumes. While we were partying, I was waiting for San to show up. I was constantly looking at the time and looking at the door. Hiro came up to me. "Hey babe. You looked worried. Are you ok?" He asked concerned. "Yeah...just waiting got someone that I invited." I said. "Don't stress about it. Its almost New Years, just have a good time. Surely the person will come." He said putting his hand on my shoulder. He always knows how to comfort me.

"Ok. So what were you doing anyways?" I asked. "Were playing "Have You Ever?" He began while putting his arm around me and led the way. "I've never played the game before so...." "Just follow along, it'll be fine." He's something, to be honest. We sat down together while Masa was preparing beers for us. "You guys ready?" He asked. "Yeah!" We all said in unison. We, meaning, Me, Hiro, Natsu, Jason, Bryan, And Masa.

So...how it all ended was Hiro and I was the only sober one in the game. The only ones who were mostly drunk were Jason and Masa. Natsu quit the game to smoke outside. Bryan also quit the game because it was boring. Then, I heard the door open and I turned my head to see who it was. It was San. "SAN!!!" I screamed. I ran and hugged him. "I'm so glad you came. I thought you wouldn't make it." I pulled away from him. "Well I came so...hopefully I'm not late." He said. I checked my phone. "No you came just in time. It's 11:30 just 30 minutes until midnight." I said.

"Angela. Let's go to the back porch." Hiro came to me. "Oh I've seen you before. Sorry for my rudeness." He said. "No it's fine." San said. "I think I should introduce. San this is Hiro, my boyfriend. Hiro this is San E, my friend." I said. They both shook hands. "It's nice to meet you San." "You too man." "Well Angela let's go." Hiro said grabbing my hand. "Well have fun. I'll talk to you later." I said and walked out with him.

Hiro let me through first and then I went to lean on the rail. (Such a gentlemen). He came and wrapped his muscular arms around my waist and leaned his head against mine. "Babe...I'm worried." He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "About you. You've been acting down lately. Into your thoughts. Is there something I should know?" He turned me around to face him. "Well....I do have one thing." I began. "You can tell me. I won't be mad or anything." He assured me. "Ok well...the guy that you just met...that's my ex. That's the person that I told you that hurt me." He looked at me surprised. "Then why is he here?" He asked. "Well... He came to explain to me why he acted the way he did. He regrets everything and that he was sorry. He knows that he can't have me back, but we can still be friends." I said. "Is he going to attempt to get you back?" "I don't know. But him explaining it to me, I felt like it was my fault for not giving him a chance. That I broke up with him recklessly. After the explanation, I feel like he changed. He wasn't the same person as he was before, he was better. I can see that because he wouldn't leave me hurt without an explanation. The fact that he accepts the friendship is very weird. I kinda do feel like he wants me back but I also feel like he understands that it's too late." He nodded in agreement. "I mean...I don't want to be the type of person that assumes that he wants you back. I do see the way you see him. He's a good man and a good person. 'I like him' was my first impression. If he was a good boyfriend to you before, then hopefully he'll be a good friend to you as well." He said. Huh this is surprising. I looked at him surprised.

"Why your looking at me like that?" He chuckled. "I don't know. I thought you might be the jealous type." I said. "I'm not jealous." He scoffed. "Mhmm. Ok." "I'm not." "Babe I'm teasing with you." I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Hey guys the countdown started. Come on." Cazqui said. "We'll hear it from here." Hiro said. "Ok." Then he closed the door. "You sure you don't wanna go inside?" I asked. "No. I rather spend it with you." He kissed my forehead. Then my nose. "6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!" We heard everyone cheered inside. "Happy New Years babe." "Happy New Years." We leaned in for a soft, gentle kiss.

We heard "oohs" and whistles from everyone in the house looking at us. I pulled away and hid on his chest because I was embarrassed. "Can't you give us privacy?" Hiro asked in Japanese. "We would but we have to get ready for the 4th so, this is what we're gonna do. Since its Above The Darkness' last day, we gonna have to practice everyday until then." Masa said. Hiro translated for me. "Ok." I agreed. "Now that's it's officially 2017....can't y'all go home?" I asked. "Dang bro let them stay here. Pleeeaaaaassseeee. Cazqui is so cool I want him to stay." Andy begged like a baby. "Ok fine. But by morning your out." I said. They all cheered. "Your too soft." Hiro said. "Well I can't resist. I kinda did want you to stay. And I'm not soft. I'm just nice." "Mmhmm ok." "Dude shut up." I chuckled.

He looked sad. "Hey..what's up. Why sad all of the sudden?" I asked concerned. "Because your leaving in three days." Hiro said sadly. "Hey.." I cupped his cheeks. "Don't think about it right now. It's the new year. Plus those three days you have plenty of time to be with me and practice. Yes I'm sad too that I'm leaving, but I'm still with you regardless." "Yeah but I can't be with you because I have to record a new album." "Can you stop worrying?" I kissed his lips gently. "I'm here with you, ok? How about this. We'll talk about it in the morning to make our schedules flexible. I have an album to record also when I get back. So....do you want to go home?" I asked. "I really don't...." "Ok" I grabbed his hand. I led him to my room. All I heard was whistles from the guys. "Ooh get em" "they're gonna tie the knot." "Don't make too much sound, ya hear?" "Wear protection." Like shut the fuck up. We're not even doing it so why assume. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Those perverts. I thought.

I opened the door and since its dark, I know where the lamp is so I turned on the lamp. "Let's lay here." "Ok." So I laid down first and he lays next to me. It was just silence between us. All we hear us the guys yelling and having fun. "Well goodnight." I said trying to get rid if the awkwardness and turned to sleep on my side. Then I felt his body against my back and his arm around my waist and his other arm under my head with his head on top of mine. "Oyasumi." Then we fell asleep peacefully.
