MATTIA'S P.O.V.

"So guys" I begin as I sit on my bed. "What are we gonna do about this Halloween party?"

Kairi scratches the back of his neck and looks over at Alvaro and Alejandro. "I have no clue bro"

Robert tugs on the strings of his hoodies as he places his phone in his back pocket.

"Who are we inviting and where are we having it?"

"Everyone's invited except Mar"

They all nod as they look at each other. "We could have it at my house" Alejandro says.

"Okay" I say and begin to turn on the t.v.

"But,Mattia" Alvaro says.

"What" I say as I scroll through channels.

"How are you and Dawn?"

I turn to him smiling. "We're great. Things are going amazing"

"Be careful" Kairi says.

"With?"I say turning back to the t.v.

"It's a party and shit happens. Just be aware of what you're doing"

"Can you guys stop? I know I needa be careful"

Robert clears his throat and begins scrolling through his phone. "I'm gonna post about the party, okay?"

"Bro is Dawn,okay?" Ale says randomly.

"Why wouldn't she be?" I sigh. Why are they so stuck up on Dawn

"She seems so.. sad lately. I don't know if I'm the only one who's noticed it but it's kinda obvious she's going through something"

I shrug. I knew something was off but I just don't know how to approach it.

"Where was she today?"

"She skipped" I say

He shakes his head. "But you see, she wouldn't do that last year or even in the beginning of this year. She always cared about her grades and shit"

"I know,bro"

"Did you guys argue?"

"No" I roll my eyes

"Be honest"

"I said no! Fucking no, Ale damn!"

"I was just asking ! I wanna know how I can help her"

"Leave it to me,okay?"

He nods and rolls his eyes.

Once they've all left I go through my messages on Snapchat. A shit ton of people texted about the party

Ale👉🏼👎🏼: we're doing the outsiders

Leah ⚠️: ooh you guys have the best parties

Alvaro: you should be a dinosaur since we all know you resemble one🤭

Dawn baby🤤❤️: I don't know if I should even go.

I quickly reply to her message. I hope she can go. I just don't know why she's doubting it.

Me: why? Baby, please go

Dawn baby🤤❤️: remember what happened last time you guys had a party?

Me: that won't happen again, I promise.

Me: if you really don't wanna go it's fine but I hope you can
