Chapter 45:

YOUR P.O.V.

The weekend's finally over and it's Monday. The absolute worst day of the week.

Mattia and I have been texting on and off since I left Kairi's house two days ago. We've been talking about random things like how our days have been and how stressful school is so early into the year

But I can't seem to stop worrying about what we are. I don't know if I want to be in a relationship with him if I'm being honest. For multiple reasons but the main two that are dividing my decision are:

Yes,I like him

No, I don't trust him

I mean, can you really blame me? I've caught him with other girls twice and I've still found the ability to forgive him.

Maybe because I don't know why he really did it.

But who knows, he might not even like me

I stumble out of bed and get ready before leaving for school.

I hope Aiden isn't there

As I'm walking in the halls someone taps me on my shoulder. It's someone I don't recognize.

A girl with ash brown hair that fake in her shoulders,fair skin, almond shaped eyes that are dark brown, medium sized lips. She's smiling at me. "Dawn" she says

I grasp onto my bag as I look around to see if anyone's looking over. Maybe someone asked her to talk to me for something.

But everyone's walking to their classes and I don't recognize any of them anyways.

I look back at her. "Do I know you?"

"No. My name's Adrianna"

"Hi Adriana" I say slowly "do you need something?"

"Kinda. You know Aiden right?"

Why is she asking me that

"Y-yeah. Why?"

"Okay so I'm his friend but I feel like you have the right to know"

"Know what?"

"So Aiden was talking to Mar-"

Mar? He knows Mar?

"He knows Mar?" I ask confused

I begin walking slowly and she walks besides me. "Yeah" she begins "So he was talking to Mar and I was there too. And Aiden brought your name up"

To Mar?

"What do you mean?" I ask trying to get to the point

"Aiden was like 'yo you know how I told you about Dawn' and Mar was like 'bro be careful around her she makes shit up'"

"Wait" I say. "Do you know what Mar did to me?"

"Yeah, I heard about that"

"And Aiden knows too?"

"Yeah. He's friends with Mar so he's known for a while"

What the fuck

"Okay, continue" I say

"So Mar was like 'do you actually like that bitch' and Aiden was like 'nah I'd only get with her to fuck and then I'd leave her'"

No fucking way.

"What the fuck!" I yell "did you hear him right?" I say

"A hundred percent, that's what he said. And I was right there when he said it. I just want you to be careful because I know you wouldn't make the stuff up about what Mar did to you"

"Exactly, I didn't"

"And I don't want Aiden to do that to you. Even I was shocked when I heard him say that. He's never like that"

"He's an asshole!" I say loudly.

She frowns

"I appreciate you telling me though"

"Of course" she smiles. "I should get to class but if anything happens, I'll let you know"

"Thanks" I say and walk further down the hall to Global History

Thank god that asshole isn't in that class with me or I think I'd slap the shit out of him.

And I better not see him today

I'm walking down the stairs about to enter the cafeteria when someone tickles me from behind. I jump, startled and turn around

"Hey" he says smiling at me. His curly hair flops over his face and he's closer to me than ever. His smile's kinda distracting me. But then , I slap him harder than I thought I ever could.

He feels his cheek that's reddened and looks at me with furrowed brows. "What's your fucking problem" he says quietly

"That's for saying you'd get with me to 'fuck me' and then leave"

His face drops and he gulps. "I never said that"

"Oh stop" I say wincing "what's the point in lying"

"Who even told you that"

"Are you and Mar friends?"

"Mariano?" He says and then he hesitates before speaking. "I haven't talked to him in a few months"

"Bullshit"

"I swear!"

I roll my eyes and turn away from him but he pulls my arm tightly. Tight enough to the point where it hurt. I push him away and look down at my arm that's red. He looks at me poker faced. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that" he says looking down

"Stay away from me" I say loudly as I go to open the cafeteria door but he closes it forcefully and corners me. I gasp

"Get away from me" I say loudly

"I like you" he says looking down at me. His body touching mine. I look away from him.

"And I don't like you so get away"

"Don't deny it. We obviously got chemistry"

"You're insane" I say trying to breathe but I feel claustrophobic in this corner. And the halls are empty.

"Am I though? Say you'll go out with me and we'll see if your still this stubborn after"

"I'm not going out with you"

He holds tightly onto my arm making me wince. "Say you'll go out with me,Dawn"

"Noooo" I say trying to push him off of me but he's too tall and larger than me.

He rolls his eyes. "I'm way better for you than Mattia"

"You aren't" I say " he wouldn't hurt me"

He chuckles. "You think this is hurting you? I guess you don't have a choking fetish"

"Excuse me?" I say looking up at him. He smiles

"If you don't go out with me then I'll call Mar"

"For?"

"To make you go out with me"

Is he serious?

I look around to see if anyone's fucking seeing this shit. But there isn't anyone here.

"I don't like y-"

"I don't care"

"Please just stop" I say. I wanna cry but I wont. It'll only make him feel better about himself

"I'm picking you up tonight. So be ready before 8:00"

And then he kisses my cheek before letting go of my arm and walking into the staircase

I look down at my swollen arm. It's throbbing. His long fingers left a mark. I place pressure on it and bite my lip. It hurts.

He said he'd pick me up.
