• I got up from my bed and looked in the full body mirror, lifting my shirt up slightly and turning to the side. I'm not showing yet.
"I can't stop staring at it," Daniel held the sonogram picture in his hand. I put my shirt down and looked at him.
"Amazing right?"
"We created this, Maddie. That's hard to believe."
"I know. It's crazy."
"What do you think it's going to be?"
"A boy," I smiled.
"I think it'll be a girl."
"Want to bet?"
"I am not betting on our child," he chuckled.
I was so caught up in this moment I completely forgot nobody knows he's the father. I frowned, "This is why I want to break up with Christian, so that we can do stuff like this together; talk about our baby in front of people."
