Gabbie set down a small box of little baby stuff on the changing table and I sighed at the amount of stuff for the baby already piled together in the corner of the room.

"What is this?" I looked inside the box. "Oh are these those nipple sucking things?"

Gabbie bursted our laughing, "I hope you mean pacifiers."

"I forgot what they were called," I laughed.

"Depending on how he is he might not like them but just in case these are Lavenders old ones. They're clean, don't worry. I didn't give you the girly ones."

"There's nothing wrong with being a little girly."

"You're right."

I started folding baby blankets from the pile in the corner and put them on the changing table shelf.

"Daniel has a surprise for you or something like that so we have to be heading over to the Why Don't We house in a bit," Gabbie told me.

"What's the surprise?"

"It's a surprise for a reason," she smiled. "And none of know."

"Let's go now then."

"Um I don't know if he's ready."

I looked down at my stomach and put my hands over it, feeling the baby kick. "You want to see daddy don't you? Or hear his voice? Yeah so do I," I talked to the baby. "We're going," I told Gabbie.

"Okay fine."

We got to the Why Don't We house and all boys but Daniel were present in the living room.

"Hey guys. Mads, Daniels in his room he has something for you."

"So I've heard," I walked towards Daniel's room and knocked on his door.

"Come in!" He called out. I walked in and he immediately smiled at me.

"Wait," I looked around and his walls were white. Fucking WHITE. "What the fuck did you do?"

"I switched it up a bit."

"This better not be your surprise."

"Oh. No that's not it but are you mad I repainted?"

"Yes I'm fucking mad. Why would you do this?"

"Because whatever color our sons eyes turn out to be then that's what color my walls will be."

"Fucking white?"

"God Maddie stop saying fuck. I meant it's going to stay white until he's born."

"But what if his eyes are my color? Then you'll be a dumbass for this."
