"Okay let's get a move on please!"

I push past Theo on the way out of my room and I run into the living room, "Wait! I can't find my book!" I scream, "Please don't leave without me! Wait! Wait! I'm coming!" I throw the cushions of the sofa scrambling to find the book that I started reading last night. We're spending the last three days of our holiday at Nan and Pops, and that's a three-hour drive on a good day.

"Annie! Come on! You're ruining the whole vibe!" Theo shouts.

I hate being the one that makes us all late to leave, "Just a second! I can't find my book!"

Ophelia comes out of the kitchen, she looks at me and takes a bite of an apple, "Was it called I am Number Four or something like that?"

"Yeah!"

"Oh, I tossed that in the fireplace last night."

"You... you burned my book!?"

Ophelia laughs and pulls my book out of her back pocket, "Course I didn't. Come on, Nan and Pops are expecting us at three and it's already..." she looks at her phone, "Yikes one o'clock."

Dad comes walking into the living room from the back door and looks at us, "Oi, you two. Get a move on would you?"

"Here Daddy-o," Ophelia says before tossing her half-eaten apple in the air for him to catch, "Better start practicing if you think you're going to get a quaffle past me this weekend."

They've got this bet going for this weekend apparently. Dad said that he could get 10 quaffles past her in a game of one on one quidditch. If he wins then she has to wear one of those weird morph suits under her shop uniform all summer. And if he loses then he's got to do the same thing.

Dad laughs before throwing the apple back at Leah, who catches it without even looking at him, "You're gonna have to try better than that ."

By the time Dad, Leah, and I are downstairs and in the back of the shop, everyone else is already in the van, "Freddie and Evie are meeting us there tomorrow morning!" Mum calls from her spot behind the steering wheel. Leah pulls open the back door to the van and squishes in between Cass and Theseus and I make my way to the very back with Theo.

"Someone hand me the aux cord would you?" Ophelia says reaching forwards into the front of the van.

Dad slaps her hand away playfully, "Put on your seatbelt first eh?"

"Listen, if I die in a car accident then that's how I'm meant to go." She says back. But she does up her seatbelt anyways.

"I think we should listen to that playlist Dad and I made for long car rides when you lot were little," Mum suggests.

"Playlist? You mean CD?" Cassie asks, "The CD that you needed Aunt Hermione and Uncle Harry to make for you cause you were both incapable of using any technology?"

Mum pulls out of the driveway and drives the van through the crowded back streets of the alley, "What did you expect from two magical folks who never used any muggle technology before?"
