***A/N*** Hey guys! Sorry this took literally all day to get out. I watched Marvel's Endgame today and cried for like three hours afterwards lmao. I'll probably be back on Sunday with another upload given that my friends and I plan on getting absolutely smashed during our zoom Harry Potter Marathon (I haven't watched the films since I started this fic so it's going to be interesting to see how Hogwarts is supposed to look instead of the Hogwarts I've created in my head) Anyways, I'll be back Sunday! I wish you all a fantastic few days. Lots of love xx

--------------------

Lying in bed with my girlfriend is the only thing that I actually want to do today. Having her curled up beside me, the curtains drawn around my four-poster with silencing charms and protective charms up so no one can bother us.

Ash studies my hand, playing with my fingers as I drift in and out of sleep.

"You have a quidditch game today," She sighs, "You should really get up and meet with your team."

I groan and roll over on top of her, crushing her into the bed, "Don't make me get up," I mutter into her neck.

Ash laughs and pushes me off of her, "You're going to go win the house cup. Then you're going to come back here and celebrate with me all night."

"And what if I lose?" I say, staring up at the ceiling.

It's Ash's turn to roll over on top of me but she's a lot nicer about it than I was. She props herself up with one arm by my head so she's not crushing me. Her hair curtains my face and tickles my cheek, "You're not going to lose because you're the best quidditch player at the school."

"But if I do?"

"If you do then you'll come back here and I'll make you feel loads better," Ash smiles before kissing my lips. She pulls away before I can kiss her the way I want and she sits up so she's straddling my hips, "Come on Weasley. Go get your team ready."

I roll my eyes and Ash laughs but she crawls off me so I can actually get up and out of bed.

"You can stay down here till the game, Cass'll take care of you," I say pulling on a pair of jogging pants and a sports bra, "We have to go do a run, eat breakfast, then get down to the pitch and run drills."

I look over at Ash and she's the definition of beautiful. She's wrapped in my blanket but it's fallen off one of her shoulders. Her hair's long and messy and she's smiling lazily at me.

Looking at her looking at me, quidditch doesn't matter. And there's not much stopping me from saying fuck it and crawling back in bed with her.

"Go," She smiles at me, "I'll see you in the stands. I'll be the one cheering the loudest."

I smile really big and crawl back in bed for just a moment so I can kiss her goodbye, "I love you," I say pulling away.

"I love you too," She says with the biggest smile on her face.

I pick up my quidditch duffle bag and hike it over my shoulder, "We're like an old married couple you know?" I say to her.

Ash laughs quietly as to not wake up my dormmates, "We really are aren't we?"

I kiss her once more before walking out of my dorm. I pull my hair up into a ponytail as I walk, half expecting to be waiting for the rest of my team in the common room for an hour.

Instead, Theseus and the rest of my team are all standing there in their running gear glaring at me.

"Where have you been?" Theseus says seriously. He has a hint of a smile on his face so I know he's not actually mad.
