***A/N*** Hey guys! Back again for the last update of the day! Fair warning, this chapter is really long and contains a lot of fluff. Not even going to deny I'm still blushing cause it was so fkn cute (also here's hoping that I don't get that weird bug that Wattpad gives me where it makes half the chapter italicized for no reason). But before we begin, the links to all of the playlists that I have created are on my conversation board! They were originally in this chapter but I forgot that you couldn't just click a link on Wattpad...YIKES! I hope you love listening to them as much as I loved creating them! Lots and lots of love, and I'll see you all tomorrow! xx

"Is taking the person you fancy on a Hogsmeade date sort of insensitive when you took your ex-partner on a Hogsmeade date?"

Oscar and Lucy both look at me as I sit in between the two of them on the common room sofa.

It's the first week of May, which means that this weekend is another Hogsmeade trip. And I want to take Gilbert out for... something. I dunno, roam the streets? Have a butterbeer? Something like that. But I don't want it to feel as if I am just taking him on the same date that I took Josie out on when we first started dating.

But what else is there to do when you live in a huge ancient castle for ten out of the twelve months of the year and want to take someone you fancy out on a proper date? Go for a stroll in the forbidden forest and risk your chance of being killed by a centaur?

How romantic.

"We're going to Madam Puddifoots!" Lucy says with a smile. She looks past me and at Oscar, "It's going to be adorable!"

Oscar looks like he thinks it's going to be anything but adorable smiles all the same, "Can't wait Lou-Lou."

"You and Bertie should come with us!" Lucy suggests, "Then it's not awkward, it's just all of us going for a spot of tea like we used to."

"Dunno Lou, might make things more awkward if you two are there. Gilbert and I still haven't fully figured out what we are yet." I say to her.

Lucy huffs, "Well you broke up with Josie, who by the way, has been sobbing every bloody night, quite annoying if you ask me, and now you're snogging Bertie every chance you get. I think that's called going steady."

"Goings steady?" Oscar says. He reaches behind me and pinches Lucy's shoulder. She bursts into laughter and tries to get over me so that she can get him back, "You sound like my grandmother."

"You two are absolutely no help you know that?" I grumble.

Lucy gives me a big hug and kisses my cheek, "You and Bertie are sweet together, I'm sure that whatever you end up thinking of is going to be a great date."

I decide it would be best to leave the two of them alone again. Ever since they started dating it's been strange hanging out with them. I wonder how Mum and Dad did it, when their entire friend group was dating each other.

I walk out of my common room and out into the corridors, no real destination in mind or anything but I figure that moving around might get my mind working and I can figure out an actual place to take Gilbert.

"Couldn't hurt to call Freddie I suppose," I say to myself.

While there is cell service all over the castle thanks to the muggle-borns in Ravenclaw, the best place for a phone call is the Astronomy tower. It also tends to be the quietest place. Unless there's people hooking up up there. Then it gets weird.

But I climb all the way up the grand staircase, then up another staircase, then go through a door, and up another set of stairs.

Godric maybe I should join Leah on a few more of her runs cause I'm seriously out of breath. It's three in the afternoon here so I think that should be a good time for him? I think he's in California... maybe.
