"Mr Hwang, Y/n is here," Han informed. "Let her come here." Hyunjin was sitting on his couch and watching some news. "Good morning Mr Hwang." She greeted him. He nodded and gave her a tab that was on the side table. "What's this?" She saw photos of four people with some information written on them.

"This is your mission today. Now what I'm going to tell you, is what you have to keep in your mind. First, my father." She looked at the first picture, closely.

"He wouldn't take any crap from anyone, he is despotic, and he is a businessman with a strong utilitarian. You won't get approval from him with your conditions right now. But if he doesn't say no, then we've already succeeded."

She kept nodding at his words. He stood up and walked behind Y/n, looking at the screen in her hand. "Second is Aunt Aurem. She is the second wife of my father and Jeongin's mother. She is the one you must be cautious of."

"Why? Isn't she your family?" He chuckled and moved away from her. "Do you think there is any pure relationship in this kind of family? She sets her heart on wanting Jeongin to replace me, waiting for me to screw up. Whatever happens, you can't reveal our relation in front of her." She nodded and saw the next picture. "Jeongin?" She got confused as she thought Jeongin already knew everything.

"As for Jeongin, don't make any anthomaniac based on him." She pouted a little. "What about him? Who is he?" She asked pointing at the last photo. "Uncle Kang is my opponent in this company. If you meet him, just look for ways to go away. He is aunt areum's brother. He is even worse than her. All right. Now your turn. Tell me about your family."

She kept the tab on the table. "Me? I don't have a family. I hatch-I...I mean I was raised as an orphan. I don't have parents." Not knowing the truth, Hyunjin started feeling guilty. "Sorry, I didn't know you had this kind of experience."

"It doesn't matter. It's good to be alone. But, I have been alone for a long time. I miss my home." She looked outside the window, to the sky. "Mr Hwang, can I ask you a favour?" He nodded. "Say it." She hesitated a bit. It was the last chance to make a choice. "I...I want to work at your company." He was taken aback. Not expecting this."What?"

--

"So you are quitting?" Mrs Bahng cried out. "I'm sorry, Mrs Bahng. And I promise as soon as I finish my task, I'll come back to you immediately." Mrs Bahng suddenly hugged her. "Even if you work somewhere else you'll still come here? I mean you are not living anywhere else? You'll stay here right?" Y/n was surprised to see this caring side of her boss.

"Yes, Mrs Bahng I'll stay here. If you want I can pay the rent." She got a soft hit on her head. She looked at the person and saw Chan shaking his head in disappointment. "How dare you say you'll pay the rent."

"Exactly!" Mrs Bahng exclaimed. Y/n smiled. "I promise I will help you whenever I'm free. But what about the deliveries?" Mrs Bahng smiled at Chan. "I'm not doing it!" Chan said."Yes, you are son."

---

"Why did you call me here?" Jiho came up to the bar counter and ordered her soda. "Why? Can't I? You are holding my exhibition. I'm just thanking you." Jeongin smiled at her. "I won't disappoint you." He drank his wine and faced her. "So, how is it going between you and my brother?"

Jiho fake smiled. "I don't know either. By the way, does he have a girlfriend?" Jeongin widened her eyes. "How did you know?" It was late to correct what he said. Jiho frowned. "Just saw a 'couple' ticket in his office."

"Yes, he does. Jiho, my brother doesn't suit you." Jiho was losing her temper. "What do you mean? Did he tell you anything?" He scratched his neck. "No, he didn't. The people around my brother are too complicated. If you're close, you'll get involved. And you have been broken once by him. Do you want another?" Jiho got pissed.

"Leave my affairs alone. You have never fallen in love, Jeongin. You'll never understand." She picked up her purse and left the bar. He chuckled. "I have never fallen in love." He clenched his jaw.

---

"Ready?" They both stood in front of the big mansion. "Ready. I mean I think I'm ready?" He shook his head and gave her his arm as she slid her hand in it. They walked through the stairs and the first one to greet them was Mrs Hwang. She forced a smile at both of them. "You're here! Your father is waiting in the study."

She said looking at Hyunjin. "Not you." She eyed Y/n. Hyunjin looked at Y/n. She smiled lightly and nodded assuring that she will be ok. He smiled backed and made his way to the study. "Ms Bahng, right? Follow me." Her tone was mean. She walked ahead.

*Rude. Hyunjin was right about her.*

She just decided to follow her. They both sat on the sofa. Y/n was waiting for Hyunjin to return so that she can get away with this awkward thing.

"I know, you're just going out with Hyunjin for a short time. But why did he bring you home so quickly? He had dated many girls but out of all, he brought you. You're the first girl to come here. You see, these days numerous people devote so much energy to marrying a rich man. Do you like him because of his identity?"

Y/n poked her inner cheek calming herself down. "Yes, Mr Hwan- " She cleared her throat. "Hyunjin is handsome and rich. Of course, I like him." The woman noticed something off but didn't show it on her face. "Do you know how hard it is to marry in the Hwang family?"

Y/n raised her eyebrows. "You are also married in the Hwang family. You seem fine." As soon as those words left her mouth, Mrs Hwang found out Y/n isn't here to play.

The door was opened, he went inside without knocking. He saw his father looking at the view from the window. He bowed. "Dad." He didn't turn around. "If you think you brought an identified woman here. Then I would like to meet her."

He said in a serious voice. "Dad you misunderstood. I brought her here today because I just wanted to apologize to you. That day, we took the liberty." The old man turned around.

"In the past, whatever ridiculous things you did, you wouldn't put it in my face. But right now, you're with a delivery girl. Are you rational?! Do you have disciplines?!" He yelled in his face. Hyunjin sighed because his prediction became true. "She is not the kind of person you are thinking."

"I don't care what kind of person she is. I won't allow you to stay with her." He sat on his chair. "What if I must want her?" Mr Hwang got up from his seat. "What did you say?" Not wanting eye contact, Hyunjin kept his gaze low.

"I haven't begged you for anything, since... mom is gone. This is the only thing that I beg you for. Y/n is important for me. I must keep her staying by my side. I can promise you anything except, break up with her."

There was a moment of silence between the two. Mr Hwang sighed. "Good, my son. You abandoned your dignity just because of a woman. All right. I promise you can stay with her. But as long as I'm alive, you can't marry her into the Hwang family. And your relationship has to be kept a secret. She should never be in public view."

"I promise."
