"It was me who begged Mr Hwang. In the past, there were some problems with the restaurant I worked in. It was Mr Hwang who helped us out. In order to show my gratitude to him, I asked him to employ me. Mr Hwang said, as a president, he would show concern to every staff. While working, he didn't have a shady relationship with me. And I....also didn't have any other feelings towards him. As for our relationship rumours...... It's false. That's all about us."

Hyunjin got Jiho's hand off him and walked toward the stage. The reporters started to follow him, showering him with questions. She sighed in relief. "It's finally over." She smiled. She waited for the elevator. As soon as the elevator opened she was shocked. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" Both of them asked.

"Oh Jeongin, Mr Han...I just came here to clarify the rumours." She looked the other way. Han whispered something into Jeongin's ears and went away with a smirky-weird smile. "Y/n, come with me to the event. I want a female companion with me." He smiled and held her hand which was covered with a white glove. "Jeongin, I'm not feeling well." Ignoring her words, they both followed the path to the big hall.

Y/n's hand was slid into Jeongin's arm. "The ball is starting soon. Be my partner." He smiled. "I don't know how to dance." She raised her shoulders. "It's easy. Just follow my steps." She nodded. Soon the song started. Jeongin kept guiding her and she was playing her role perfectly.

*Why is she dancing with him? Look at the big smile on her face.*

Seeing them like this, other things blurred up for him. He was so focused on them, that he didn't notice someone calling out. She shook him a little. He got into his senses and looked at her. "I can't believe that she provoked you with Jeongin."

Jiho looked at both of them. "Were they that close before?" He asked looking away from them. "Of course not. They didn't even talk much." He didn't say anything and glared at them.

Both of them walked out happily. "Thanks for today." She smiled happily at him. "No problem." He returned the smile but then suddenly sighed. "You know, every time when Hyunjin hurts someone, I feel bad for him. I mean it's not his fault. He has always been like this because he lives alone. He never shares his feelings with anyone. Please don't hate him."

"I don't hate him. It's just that he dislikes me now. But I thought you don't like him." He shook his head. "Of course not. I do things like that or say things like that because I want to have a normal sibling relationship with him like everyone does. A love-hate relationship. But sometimes he makes it hard." She patted his shoulder. "I know right. He is abnormal." They both chuckled. She froze as she saw the body walking to them behind Jeongin. "Since I was a child,...."

"Jeongin..." She called out lowly. He stood behind him. "He is the only one who supported my dream. Although he won't say anything to me, I know that he has been protecting me all this time." He crossed his arms around his chest and kept listening. "Jeongin." She spoke in her normal voice this time. "What?" She signalled him by her eyes, to look behind him. He turned around. "Oh!" He jumped behind Y/n. "F-From when are you standing behind me?"

"From the time I supported your dream." He smirked. "I have something to talk about with her." Jeongin pushed her a little forwards. "Didn't I make it clear right now? We have nothing to talk about. And I don't wanna talk to you either now, bye." She fake smiled and turned around to leave. "If it's not a good time now, tomorrow at 3 p.m. I'll send you the address." He said his words and left. "What the heck is wrong with him? I just said I don't wanna talk."

"Do you know why I helped you today?" She looked at his side face. He didn't let his eyes off the road. "If you think that the media will misunderstand our relationship, don't worry. I'll handle everything myself. You will not be at any disadvantage." She chuckled.

"No. It has nothing to do with that. I helped you because I know you can forget me anytime. I also know that it doesn't matter what I do, what I give, I'm just a data in your memory bank." She looked out of the window. "I'm sorry. I didn't know you cared so much." He apologized.

"I was closer to you more than anyone else." She sighed. "What do you mean?" She shook her head. "Nothing. Drop me near the mall." He nodded and pulled over. She got off. "Thank you for the ride." She said and closed the door. Hyunjin quickly got out of the car. "Wait, Ms Jiho. Did we know each other for a long time?" She turned around to face him. "You remember me?" He looked down. Her face was filled with disappointment. "Do you want to know what happened between us?"

"Tell me. I don't want to owe you." She took out a card. "Let's meet at this milk tea shop tomorrow." He read the card and frowned. "I know this place." He mumbled.

"Stay still Somi!" She carefully placed Somi inside her purse. "Good afternoon ma'am. Do you have any reservations?" The waitress greeted her. "Uh-I'm looking for Mr Hwang Hyunjin." The waitress nodded rapidly. "This way please." She walked forward followed by Y/n. The waitress showed her the table and left the private space.

Y/n could only see his back as he spoke on his phone. "Don't call and disturb me now. We'll talk about the deal tomorrow." He hung up. Y/n finally walked up to the seat opposite to him and sat down. He kept his phone on the table and looked at her serious expression. She started, "Go ahead."
