He poured his whole weight on her. Struggling she took him to his bedroom. "Why did you drink so much?" She tried to make him sit on the bed but instead, he threw his body backward, making him lay down. She caressed his head. "Jeongin, why did you drink so much?" He suddenly sat up. He looked at her. "Mom, what if dad leaves you?"

"Why are you asking this? Wait, he is not having an affair, is he?" Jeongin shook his head. "No. I just wanted to ask that, how can I make someone stay?"

She held his hand. "Jeongin, forget about everybody and think about yourself. You know, Hyunjin will be getting married soon. Which means he might double. What will your place in the Hwang family be then? I'm considering that I should find you a girlfriend. And she should be better than Jiho in every aspect so that you can get married before them and build a family soon. What do you say?"

"Mom, are you drunk?"

---

She carried her suitcase herself down the stairs and looked straight at the big table. Mrs. Bahng was having her wine while watching the calm and pleading sea waves. She walked up to her. Mrs. Bahng noticed her presence but didn't turn around. "I'll be going then." She nodded.

"Go then. I'm not at a shortage of waitresses anyway. I'll hire a new one tomorrow." She said still not looking at her. Y/n sighed. "Mrs. Bahng..." She wrapped her arms around her. Mrs. Bahng started crying loudly. Y/n was shocked at the sudden action.

"How can you be so heartless? How can you leave like this? I'm already used to you being around." Y/n pulled her arms back and bent down, kneeling on the floor. "Mrs. Bahng, don't cry. I'm not going forever. I'll try to visit you if I get the chance." Mrs. Bahng kept her wine glass on the table. "Then promise me that you'll come often. I'll always keep the room upstairs for you." She nodded and smiled lovingly.

She stood up straight. "I'll be going now." Mrs. Bahng nodded. "Tell Chan I said, goodbye." She nodded again not wanting to speak much.

---

"Everything okay?" Hyunjin asked the doctor. "Yes. You recovered well." The door pushed open. All the doctors, including Hyunjin, looked at him. Han looked around the room while panting.

"Uh...nothing. Please go on." He said politely to the hospital staff present there and turned around. "Say it." Hyunjin demanded. Han looked at Hyunjin. "Okay then, promise me that you'll stay calm." Hyunjin nodded.

"So, as you said, Seungmin called Y/n today to come to see you. But he tried calling her various times but he couldn't get through. And he was a little busy so he told me to check. I called the restaurant and Mrs. Bahng said that...Y/n was leaving." As soon as the sentence slid through his lips, Hyunjin threw his blanket away. "Help me get through the discharge formalities." He put on his slippers.

"But you're not yet suitable for discharging." The doctor suggested. "I don't care!" He walked out of the room. "I said, be calm!" He looked over to the doctors. "I'm sorry, he's stubborn."

He walked out of the hospital. A car stood in front of him. "Hey! I got free from my patients so I came to visit you-" Hyunjin quickly walked over to the driver's seat and opened the door. "Sit there, let me drive." He said eyeing over the front seat, beside him. "Huh?"

"I said, sit there!" He yelled. "Okay, okay." Seungmin got himself on the other seat. Hyunjin sat down and drove the car at full speed. "Hyunjin, why did you get discharged so early. Your heart just recovered. And what are you doing in your hospital clothes?" He ignored his words. "Where is she now? Out of the restaurant?"

"I have already called her twenty-three times today, she isn't picking up." He explained. "Call Jeongin." He looked at him confused. "Why?"

"He knew she was leaving. Maybe he can persuade her." Seungmin didn't waste time anymore.

---

He was snoring in his sleep when suddenly a loud noise interrupted him. Groaning he picked up his phone from the nightstand. He answered the call without opening his eyes. "Are you with Y/n?" He opened his eyes fully. "What's the time!?" The pain in his head was disturbing. He hung up on him and went to his closet grabbing a jacket.

Seungmin grabbed the seat belt tightly. "You're driving too fast. It's scaring me." He didn't reply and kept his eyes fixed n the road.

---

"Thank you." The driver smiled at her and closed the trunk of his taxi. She opened the door of the back seat. Her phone started ringing. "Please hold on a second." She said to the driver and pulled out her phone from her coat pocket.

"Jeongin" She put it back in her pocket and sat in the car. "We can go now." The car's engine started. She kept looking at the fidgeting fingers. The car was halfway passing the street when the driver suddenly pulled the brake too hard. Y/n looked up. "Is this driver sick!" Her driver shouted.

She saw a black car in front of them, blocking their way. The door opened as he got out of the car. Seeing him in the hospital clothes, the driver said, "Oh my... He is really sick." Y/n widened her eyes and got off. "Are you crazy, Hyunjin!? This was so dangerous!" He didn't respond and started walking to her with a straight face. "D-Don't come near."

He didn't stop. "Aren't you leaving? What are you afraid of?" They finally stood face-to-face. "You got me in this condition and didn't even give me an explanation." His voice was calm till now. "You think I'd let you leave!" She didn't know what to say. "Didn't I compensate you for that? What else do you want now?"

"I didn't mean this time." She raised her eyebrow. "I meant, before." She looked at him muddled. "Before?" He nodded. "You pestered me, lied to me, made me misunderstand, and felt guilty. I knew I shouldn't approach you in the beginning. But I still stepped into your trap again and again. I liked you..."
