November 19th, 1988
In the Sioux Falls police station, (Name) sat in a chair next to one of the many desks. She was soaking wet with rain water, staring at the ground with a lifeless look in her eyes.

"I can't get anything out of her. She won't say a word." The police man at the desk said to another officer. "What kind of parents would let their three year old wander the streets this late at night, in this weather?!" The other officer asked.

A young Jody Mills, brand new to the force walks over carrying a doughnut. She kneels down next to (Name) and smiles at her sweetly as she held the doughnut out to her. "Here you go, sweetie. You must be hungry." She said.

But (Name) continued staring at the floor, not even acknowledging her or the free doughnut. Jody frowns and looks up at the other officers, who shrug with no idea of what to do.

Jody turns back to (Name) and smiles again. "Sweetie is there anyone we can call? A mom, dad, grandparent... any family at all?" She asked, but (Name) stayed quite. Jody sighs and sets the doughnut on the desk next to her. "I'll just leave this here for you. You can eat it when you're ready." She said, standing up.

(Name) remain still as Jody goes over to the officers. "I think poor thing is all alone." She whispered to the men. "Must be. What do we do?" One of the officers asked. "She must have some relatives somewhere. We gotta make some calls, search the system. See if anyone knows who she is." Jody said, and the officers nodded.

(Name) continue sitting in her chair, staring at the ground like some part of her was already dead inside.

Present Day
(Name) stares down at her eggs, almost with the same lifeless expression. "You aren't hungry?" A voice asked, and (Name) raises her head. Sam sat across from her with a plate of waffles, Dean was leaning against the kitchen counter with a beer, and Bobby was seated at the end of the table with his own plate of waffles. All of them were looking at her concerned.

"No... not really." (Name) said, slightly pushing her plate away. Sam looks over his shoulder, exchanging a look with Dean. "Baby, you've hardly been eating these past couple days." He said, turning back to her.

(Name) shrugs. "I just don't have much of an appetite. It's no big deal." She muttered, getting up. "Sorry for wasting your food, Dad." She said, picking up her plate. "Eh it's alright. Eggs were gonna go bad soon anyway." Bobby said.

The men watch (Name) dumb her food in the trash and set her plate in the sink, going through the backdoor to the outside. "You're right. She's not acting like herself." Bobby said to Sam.

"I think you're worrying too much, man. I mean after what happened in Missouri..." Dean said. "Dean, something been going on with her even before Missouri. And now after losing Jo and Ellen it's getting worse." Sam said.

"What you got her under a microscope or something?" Dean asked, and Sam glares at him. "I can just tell she's upset and if it keeps getting worse..." Sam said, pausing to think of the possible outcomes, none of which were very good. "I don't know what will happen but Chuck told me to keep an eye on her." He said.

"Did he have a vision about her?" Bobby asked. "A couple, but he said their too vague. Any vision he gets about (Name) is fuzzy." Sam explained. "That's doesn't sound like a good sign." Bobby said.

"No it can't." Sam said. "So what are you going to do, huh? Go up to (Name) demanding to know what's wrong?" Dean asked, and Sam thinks for a moment. "If it comes to that." He muttered, sliding his chair out to get up.
