Christmas Eve, but to Nora it felt like any other day, walking the streets as she let the snow touch her hair, embracing it a little as people called carollers starting singing, knocking on every door. The lights were brighter at night, the street almost being a hazard for the drivers.

The sky was a mix of pink and grey, not exactly light; but not dark either. Nora stuffed her cold hands into her pocket, enjoying the time she has to herself. Circling the block before she comes back inside, Nora shook herself off to not let snow get on the floors, kicking her books on the steps to get them off, shaking her head, soon joining the inside when she saw a a boy in the distance walk closer to the Tonks.

It still felt weird at the Tonks, it was soon time to go back to Hogwarts and Nora wish she was enjoying her time with her cousin, but the truth was, they knew nothing about each other. Nora was too young to develop a relationship with andromeda, both having different images of each other after she was disowned.

Now being reconnected with andromeda doesn't feel the same then when it did, which kept throwing Nora off every time she saw her face.

"This is their house? Why did i imagine it smaller?" Ducking at the stairs and going back down, Nora ran over to hug Atticus, punching him. "How the hell did you find me you twat?"

Atticus shrugged his shoulders, putting his hands in his pocket, looking at the house. "I have my ways my friend." He winked, clearly trying to hint something to her. Nora wasn't picking up with Atticus was putting down, squinting her eyes and seeing if she could read his mind.

"I had a date with McDonald, she knows everyone who lives here, including someone named Teddy Tonks." Nora rolled her eyes, both smirking at the name; knowing it was a little weird to see it be a human name.

"Where'd you take her?" Nora asked, both walking over to the bench that was on the street, wiping it down to sit properly. "Well, we first just walked around, and then she knew this diner, I had these things called onion rings, and my Merlin, those were delicious."

Why is everything reminding her of James?

"A diner? Like a restaurant?" Nora asked, pretending to be shocked. "Yeah," Atticus scoffed, shaking his head, "it was a very nice night." He said in awe, serious about this girl. Nora softly punched her friends arm, showing how much he has softened for this girl; wiggling her eyebrows.

"Get your head out of the gutter young lady." Atticus rolls his eyes, smiling harder now. Looking up as they opened their mouths for snow to hit them, enjoying their presence.

"I'm glad you creepily found me," Nora softly says, turning to face the lad, Atticus doing the same. "Has she opened up or is still pretending nothing has happened?" Asked Atticus, talking about andromeda.

"I don't think she ever will, just going to accept the fact there's no closure with that." She whispered, staring into Atticus eyes, shrugging her shoulders. Nora looked back up at the sky when she saw Atticus check the time on his watch, knowing he should let Nora go.

"What are you going to do when you get home? You're all by yourself?" Nora asked him, contemplating if she should ask him to stay with them. "Oh er— I'll figure it out, Missy and keeps me company. You better go though," standing up from the bench, Nora wrapped her arms around Atticus, feeling sorry that he will be spending Christmas by himself tomorrow.

"I'll see you on the train." The boy says out loud, Nora walking away from him as she kicks the snow off her boots, entering the house, warmth hitting her so fast, shaking off the snow anywhere else.
