She's not a bad person, she knew that; but unfortunately nobody else understood the emotions and thinking process Nora Black goes through in a day. If she were to think about one thing too often, she would eventually spiral out of control, and she did exactly that with how she didn't even hug or kiss Jane after expressing the fact he fancies her more than anyone else in this world.

Nora felt like she was slipping away from James on accident, wanting to feel safe with him no matter what, yet it seemed like the universe wasn't on her side— for once she felt like she didn't deserve it.

Instead of pretending to do nothing about it, Nora got off the couch in the common room and began to find the head boy and girls room, urgently wanting to express the fact she admires James so much, even if he already knew it, he needed to hear it again.

The corridors always freaked her out at night, not to mention the cat of Filch, lurking around with no business, wearing her fluffy slippers and robe to cover her nightgown. Trying to be quiet was hard for her, hopping up the stairs and practically running against time, rushing to the other side of the castle.

Panting a little before she eventually found it; Nora stared at the door, hoping it wasn't late at all, hesitant to knock, taking a deep breath. "He deserves to know." Nora whispered about, using that momentum to knock, hoping Evans wasn't the one to answer the door, slightly praying.

Watching the door open, Nora couldn't help but get lost in his eyes, the same damn eyes that make her like him so much, her favourite feature about him. "You are an amazing human being, and I cannot believe how I ignored you for months, just for my own safety because you are too good for me James Potter. I am a horrible person and I think you should know that." She rambled, fidgeting with her hands.

James leaned on the door; in awe of her anyways, moving the door to make it wider, wanting her to come in to properly talk, nodding his head. "I don't agree with you." He said, letting her walk through.

The common room came with a kitchen, three couches with a fireplace, three doors that were side by side that was on the very right, tucked away a little bit. It was spacious, and if Nora was head girl, she would've had this whole place to herself in the dungeons, not needing to share it with anyone, being able to cook and clean in peace.

Taking her slippers off and needing to discuss what just happened earlier today, Nora sat on one side of the couch, turning to face James as he was ready to listen. "Can I say something first?" He asked, raising his hand.

"Whatever you say, I can never be mad, I fully understand what you've been through. So what we didn't talk or hang out? I get to see you everyday here without sneaking around your parents Nora. You have been through enough and I'm not going to hold it against you." James said, patting her thigh for a moment.

Feeling defeated with her mentally well written script, the brunette clapped her hands, falling backwards onto the couch. It seemed like whatever she was doing, she wasn't being held against her actions, but when has she ever been called out?

"Really? I mean I ignored you for almost two weeks because I was too scared to tell you why." Nora blabbed, narrowing her eyes at the boy. James shrugged his shoulder, giving a soft smile to her. "I mean it was a little awkward with you and Sirius not talking, I didn't want to choose sides." He truthfully told her.

I don't deserve this boy.

Standing up and opening her arms, James furrowed his eyebrows: not understanding as Nora tilted her head. "I've learned that a hug can fix a fight." She told him, arms beginning to hurt.

"Who told you that?"

"Myself." She softly spoke; wondering if she was wrong this entire time. Watching him stand up beginning to slightly over tower her, Nora wrapped her arms around him, her head leaning on his shoulder as James pulled her in closer. "A hug can cure many things Nora." He corrected, rubbing her back.
