2nd POV

"Sigh."

Takao looked at you weirdly. It was tenth time you sighed for this day. You held a worried face and in addition to that is doubt.

"What's wrong, (First name)-chan?" He asked. You looked up at him and sighed again.

"Nothing really, Kazu. Sigh."

"It's not nothing if you're sighing like that you know."

"It's just—It's because of Shin-chan. You know, I think he doesn't feel the same about me anymore."

"Why do you say so?"

You looked at him directly and said all of your worries. He suddenly laughed and said:

"Shin-chan's really like that! Don't worry about a thing, (First name)-chan! I promise you that he's really just a tsundere."

"I hope so."

"(Last name)-san! Mikoto-sensei wants to talk to you. He said that you should come to his office."

'Henry? I wonder what he wants.'

"Okay! Thanks class rep. I'll be going now Takao."
"Sure. See you later."

You and Mikoto-sensei are cousins that's why he was asked by your parents to check up on you when you're in school. Once you entered his office...

"Henry?"

"(First name)-chan! Come. Sit down."

"What is it that you want, Henry?"

"You see, my girlfriend's birthday is coming soon and I don't know what to give her. She's just a very simple person."

"I see. Then how about a simple date and give her something that she likes like teddy bear or her favorite food."

"That might work! Thanks, (First name)!! You're really the best cousin!" He tried to hug you but you quickly stepped aside so he face planted on the door.

"You're so mean (First name)! Huhuhuh~"

"I now wonder what Aria-san finds good about you."

"Mean!"

"Sigh."

"Hey! I heard that it's Midorima's birthday next week."

"Shoot! I forgot!"

"And you're telling me what characteristics Aria found good on me?"

"And here you are thinking that I'm mean but I'm actually having a problem with him."

"Why is that?" He looked at you hopefully.

You started to tremble and silently sob. There was a long silence until you started to tell him everything. He was saddened by it but he encouraged you that he's not that kind of person especially when he looks very serious.

With Midorima

"Shin-chan!"
"Takao. What is it nanodayo?"
"(First name)-chan's very sad you know."
"Huh?" Midorima was puzzled with what Takao is telling him.

"She said that maybe you're tired of her."
"Why would she think like that nanodayo?"
"Maybe because you act so cold to her now."

Midorima's POV

'Cold huh?' I thought about it for awhile. It's true that I have been avoiding her and just kept on having a brief conversation.

'The reason I'm being like that is because I can't look at her. Especially that she's always smiling at me and it makes me blush harder.'

"Eh? Is the great Shin-chan blushing? You are!"

"Shut up nanodayo. I'm going to clear up things to her after class."

Time passed by and classes have ended early today so I quickly searched for (First name). Shutoku's basketball team is on rest for this day. I kept my lucky item today in my pocket which is a pink ribbon.

I spotted her walking alone towards the gate.

"(First name)."

"Shin-chan?" I quickly took her hand and held it firmly.

"Eh? Shintaro? W-What are you doing?"

"No matter what, you're the only person whom I'll ever love." I said to her without looking back and just dragging her to the park.

"Shintaro. Thank you." She smiled at me that's why I couldn't help but blush. I quickly covered half of my face and held her hands to my heart. She giggled at that so I glared at her but she was still smiling.

'I really love her smile.' I couldn't help but smile as well.

2nd POV

It's July 7th now and it's Midorima's birthday so you prepared a simple gift to him. A knitted scarf and lucky charm made by your grandma. She said that it will protect him from bad elements. You also baked a simple Japanese cake with red bean paste.

"Is he going to like this?"

You quickly dressed to your school uniform and went to school. You looked for the green-haired teen but it seems like he's not in school so you asked Takao.

"Shin-chan? Sorry (First name)-chan but I don't know where he is. I thought he would be with you."
"I see. Thanks Takao."
"Ah..."

You looked for him but it's as if he's not in school. 'That's weird.... Where is he?...' Class is now about to start so you return back to class.

Lunch

"I really can't find him today. Where is he anyway?" Sadness filled your heart and it made you teared up a bit so you went to the rooftop and ate there.

"Sigh...."
"What are you sighing there huh idiot?"

'That voice....'
"Shintaro!" You quickly hugged him and teared up a bit.
"O-Oi! Why are you crying nanodayo?"
"Mm..... You left me alone. I thought you're avoiding me."

"Pfft... As if." He laughed a bit. Wait. Him? Laughing!?

"You....laughed...."
"Is that a problem nanodayo?"
"Of course not! I hope you'll smile more though."
"I-It's not like I-I'm doing this for you nanodayo."
"Hahaha! You're blushing again! What a tsun-tsun!"
"Ugh... You're acting like Takao now (First name)."
"Hahaha. Gomen~ To make it up for you. Happy birthday Shintaro." You smiled genuinely at him.

"Thanks nanodayo."
"Taste it now!"
"Sigh... Fine."
"How is it?"
"It's good...." He said in a surprised tone.
"Hehehe. Thank you!"
"You made this?"
"Yup! Hehehe. I'm glad you liked it."

He finished up his food and faced you then suddenly pecked your lips.

"Thank you again (First name)."
