Lucy's POV

It has been a couple of years since I joined Fairy Tail. I've made loads of friends:

Levy
Happy
Gajeel
Cana
Reedus
Gray
And pretty much most of the guild
Including Natsu

Natsu and Happy we're the first Fairy Tail mages that I met, now that I recall.

'Hey, Lucy!' Natsu called from the job board. He was running with the job flyer in his hand. 'Lucy!' Happy called as well.
That was until Natsu tripped over Gray and they started fighting... Again... 

'Oi! Watch where you are going, Flame Brain!' Gray shouted from underneath Natsu. He pushed Natsu off as Happy grabbed the flyer from Natsu's hands and delivered in front of you. 'Arigatou, Happy!' Happy sat down next to you on the table and you both watched Natsu and Gray fight.

'I might ask you the same thing, Ice Princess!' Gray was ready to unleash his Ice Make magic.
Just then, Erza came and smashed their heads together. 'I thought I told you guys to not fight anymore!' Erza rested her foot on top of Natsu and Gray's smashed foreheads.

'Aye, Sir....'
'So, Lucy,' started Happy.
'Yes, Happy?'
'Read the job flyer!'
'If you insist.'

The job flyer read:
Please Help My Restaurant!!!
My restaurant keeps getting trashed because of young teenagers with spray cans. They also trash the interior of the restaurant. If you can spy on them and kick them out of my restaurant for good, the restaurant will let you eat for free for a week, a Silver Celestial Key and 1,000,000 jewels in reward.

'This seems like an easy job, Happy,' I said. 'We can all divide it and if we Team Natsu goes on other --'

Happy interrupted.

'Actually, Natsu only wanted to go with you. Not Gray, not Erza. Just you, me and Natsu!'
'This would be interesting', I thought.

After Natsu finally got up, he came to Happy and I.
'So, Lucy, whaddya think of this job? Easy, huh? Plus, you may be able to pay your rent and get another Celestial Key.'
'OK, Natsu. Let's go!!!' I grabbed my bag and headed out the door.

' Whoo! They sure deserved a beating.' Natsu, Happy and I walked in Magnolia Park. 'Come to think of it, Luce, what was the name of the Silver Key?'
'I think it's called Canis Minor... OK, lemme summon my new Celestial Spirit. I already made a contract!'
'That was fast.'
'Open Gate of the Canis Minor! Nikola!' I yelled. A little white dog with an orange long nose came out of nowhere.
'Oohhh,' it wobbled.
'EHHHHH?! THAT'S IT??? THAT'S THE CELESTIAL SPIRIT?!' Natsu yelled, feeling like an idiot.
'Natsu, don't you know that all Celestial Spirits are important?' I thumped him on the head.
'Ehhhhhh...'
'I think I'll call you... Plue!'
'~Oehh~'
'Ehhhhhh...' Natsu drooped.
'I have to get home, Natsu~' as Natsu lifted me up. 'NANI?! Natsu! Let go of me!!!' I shouted.
'I owe you a favour after this, Lu-chan!'
'Did he really just call me Lu-chan?'
After like, five minutes of having to stare at Natsu's behind, he finally let me go. 'Finally, geez.'

We were in front of my house door as he dropped me.
'Natsu?'
'Yes, Lu-chan?'
'What was that for?!' I kicked him with my famous Lucy kick.
'Eehhhh...' Natsu fell on the ground but quickly stood up. 'OK, Luce, I gotta be truthful to you.' He bushed as deep as red as Erza's hair colour.
'You are my friend, and if I hadn't met you on that very first day, I don't know what I would've done with my life. So, are you willing to go out with me, someday?'
'He confessed his feelings and love for me! What should I say? I'm too scared to turn him down because I like him as well and also I don't know what will happen!'
'After, all we've been through, Natsu, I would love to go out with you.'

Natsu held my chin close and as our lips contacted, Happy rolled his tongue, 'You like--EEH!'
I grabbed the blue neko by the tail and covered his mouth as mine and Natsu's mouth felt like heaven dancing on fire.

We both blushed deeper than Erza's hair colour after we tore apart. 'Lu-chan, can I sleep with you?' Natsu blushed deeper and his face looked like he was about to die from embarrassment. 'I don't know what to say, Natsu, but of course, you can!'
Natsu pumped both of his fists in the air and yelled, 'YEAH!'
I chuckled as I unlocked the door and all three of us went in. We all had our separate showers and Natsu and I were both about to sleep on my bed. Natsu was shirtless as I blushed a deep red when I stared at his abs. He caught me staring and brought his lips to mine and my butterflies were dancing all throughout my body. Natsu pulled me under the covers and I was caught facing between his shoulder and the nape of his neck. He was warm, not in the way because he's a Fire Dragon Slayer, but because his love could never die for me. He kissed the top of my head, 'Oyasumi, Luce. Oyasumi, Happy.' Natsu cuddled me with his arms wrapped around me waist.

'Oyasumi, Lucy. Oyasumi, Natsu!'
'Oyasumi, Natsu. Oyasumi, Happy.'

Butterflies felt like they were lit on fire and my heart fluttered. There was nothing that could tear us apart. Ever.
