Midnight X Reader: Joining Oracion Seis PT 1

Your POV

I ran through the forest, as fast as my legs could carry me. Someone or something was chasing after me. They were gaining on me, I could feel it. After about five minutes of running, I started tripping over the tree roots.

'Sound Magic: Disturbed!' you yell. You could hear their screeching. It was obvious that someone was chasing you, but you didn't know who. 'Damn, who is that person?' you thought to yourself. They recovered very quickly and started chasing after you again. 'I need a breather.,' you thought. 'There's no way I can escape from this guy without collapsing my own lungs.' You reached a clearing in the forest, where you could see your opponent face-to-face. There, the light shone on his face. 'Who are you?' you yelled.

'I am one of the members of the most strongest Dark Guild of all!' the man started. His goggles shone in the moonlight, with his blonde eyebrows protruding from either sides of his face.

'Which is?' I replied.

'I am Racer, fastest member in Oracion Seis.' He started again.

'What do you want with me then?'

'I think that the others will recruit you. Then, again, it's not up to me and if you fail, you die. Sound like a deal?'

'Why would I make a deal with someone who wants to kidnap me and kill me if I don't pass?!'

'I only pick the people up. No questions asked, do it the easy way, make sure they're not bruised up too much, unless they fight back and see if they pass. Easy.'

'Yeah, easy for you to say,' you thought and Racer took the opportunity to knock you on the head.

You woke up in a room with only the bare essentials, besides food, of course. A man with white hair and strange markings on his face appeared in the room.

'You must be tired, hungry, angry, confused and upset.'

'What's going on? What are you going to do to me? Are you part of the Oracion Seis that Racer mentioned?!' All you remembered was you being confronted by Racer in the forest clearing.

'Ah, so Racer mentioned being in Oracion Seis, did he? I'll have to speak with him after I speak to you. You can call me Brain, if you need anything. Now, what else did he mention?'

'Why would I tell anything to you?! You kidnapped me and are holding me hostage! How do you expect me to answer your questions when I have all these questions that need answering first?!'

'Now, I will inform you all this in about five minutes or so, OK? Just stay in this room otherwise Midnight might have to kill you.'

'Yeah, like I can get out of here. Hm, am I being eavesdropped on?'

'I better be careful from now on,' you thought.

Five minutes later, Brain came back into your room and gave you some sashimi to eat. While you were eating, Brain was walking around your room. You ate for about a minute before standing. Brain looked at you and led you outside your room. The hallway was lit with candles surrounding every wall. You gasped in amazement. Brain led you outside and you realized you were at a bottom of a waterfall.

'What are we doing at the bottom of a waterfall?' you thought.

'I'll take you to meet the others. They're at their individual training grounds right, now, so you have to follow my lead, OK?'
