John Smith's POV

Another ceremony, maybe I will win this one too. Why else would they cordially invite me? Every single time I've been cordially invited to one of these my book wins at least some award. Which was always, but it could be because I was a best-selling author.

I couldn't help but stare at the booth selling the top rating romance novel, along with their adventure novels 'Blaidd Drwg'. Bad Wolf was the author but they never showed up to anything. Well if they where no one knew. They've managed to keep their identity perfectly hidden.

Whoever this Bad Wolf was, they certainly where giving me an idea as something my main character the Doctor could come across. Of course I would have to ask their permission, but they where so damn hard to come into contact with.

Her new best-selling book did look rather appealing, Romance was very intriguing but I had no experience at all to write any. Bad Wolf was probably female, they where so in touch with emotions and it showed in the writing. I'd never seen that type of writing in other male writers, but then again they could just be a very in-depth person.

It was driving me mad, I picked up a copy the sales women Sarah-Jane instantly piped up.

"Hello Mr. Smith, its lovely seeing you. I adore your books, you looking for some romance?" She asked. As I rubbed the back of my neck with my hand.

"Thank you very much, I'm really just looking at the competition." I lie. Before I began to read the back cover.

"Brittany Price; London's most favored model had it all, but something was missing. Derek Tate was a famous photographer who was growing engrossed in the thought of having her model for him. When Brittany's photographer quits in a fit of rage, Derek is soon called in to take pictures of his favorite model. Will their love be captured in the very photos Derek takes?"

I raised an eyebrow, I guess it did sound interesting.

"I'll take a copy,"

"That will be $15:99," Sarah-Jane pointed out, as I forked out the money. Rather cheap for a book.

"Um, do you know the Bad Wolf personally?" I ask.

"Yes, but Mr. Smith I can't give you any information on them." Sarah-Jane apologized.

"Yes, I know but I was wondering if you could give them this; hopefully they can get back to me on this." I reply, pulling out the file for using Bad Wolf in the story.

"Yes, yes I can." She agreed.

"Thank you,"

I sighed, walking off to take a seat. Before I knew it I was already on the fourth chapter of the book, the writing was phenomenal. Another presence entered the room, her hair was gorgeous. Liquid gold cascading down her shoulders, her large doe eyes so full of wonder.

She was walking toward the Bad Wolf stand, about all the other patrons had retired to their room for the night. Leaving only her, Sarah-Jane, the bartender and I. My eyes widened when I saw Sarah-Jane hand the girl the file.

"He what?" she asked in an excited tone, before looking through it.

Her, she was the Bad Wolf. That brilliant girl was the Bad Wolf.

I saw Sarah-Jane whisper something the girl, and instantly the girl went rigid. She looked over at me, and shyly looked down. I could see her take a deep breath, before she walked over to me. I stood, smiling as I saw her clutching the envelope to her chest.

"Hello, you're the Bad Wolf." I chuckle, as she nodded shyly. Her eyes stayed on the floor, it was obvious she was nervous.

"You're John Smith," She whispered.

"It's an honor to meet you,"

"Oh, I'm nothing special; especially compared to you." Bad Wolf admitted.

"Nonsense, I just picked up your book and was afraid to put it down. You put so much depth into your writing, so much character. You make the words come off the page and into your heart." I urge. As she giggled, shaking her head no.

"Don't you mean hearts, Doctor?" She asks, causing my heart to beat loudly in my chest. She referenced my character, and even called me him. I did describe him with my appearance, she is actually the first to point that out to me. I had to admit it was a turn on.

But I always was the perfect gentleman as always and decided  not to think about it anymore.

"Why yes, but your adventure series main character is the Bad Wolf in 'Blaidd Drwg' which translates to Bad Wolf! It's outstanding that you made an entire series without gender pronouns, you have an amazing talent for writing." I remind her, as I saw her face flush.

"Can I buy you a drink?" I ask, before she nods and I place my hand on the small of her back leading her to the bar.

"Um, you won't tell anyone who I am right?" She asks nervously, as she sits beside me. I shook my head no, silently promising my secretary.

"Hi Rosie!" The bartender instantly piped, before winking.

"Hi Jack, this is John Smith." 'Rosie' introduces. As I shake his hand, and he quickly hand me a menu before getting to work on a martini.

"You're the only person who calls me that," she smiles at the man, as he hands her the martini.

"Yea, to everyone else its Rose or Bad Wolf. Rosie is a nice change of pace, your lucky I don't call you Wolfie!" He laughs.

"I like Rose, it's a very lovely name. Perfectly fitting, and can I get a scotch?"

"Coming right up!" Jack pipes, showing me two different types of scotch, as I point to which one I want. Rose blushes, still holding the envelope to her chest, while holding the martini; which I now realized wasn't a martini at all. It was a Sherly temple, fancied up.

"Get any writing done?" Jack asks, as she smiles.

"Yea, you're going to love it Jack!" she giggled happily.

"Can't wait to read it," he smiles.

The rest of the night we all talked and laughed, and I couldn't help but feel even more drawn to the Bad Wolf.

I offered to walk her to her hotel room, she agreed.

"John you can use Bad Wolf," she said suddenly in the elevator.

"I'll sign the consent forms and give this back to you in the morning. Unless...." She spewed out, at first I almost didn't know what she was saying. But I could tell this was a little hard, I understood; your characters we're part of your very being. From what I could tell her very self was the Bad Wolf, like how I was the Doctor.

"Rose, I will tell you everything I will be doing with the character. I promise she's safe with me."

"So I the Bad Wolf, is safe with you the Doctor?" she asks nervously looking up at me.

"Rose..."

"Rose Tyler," she said suddenly. "You can use my real name, I think it's about time I stop hiding."

"Well Rose Tyler, I promise you are safe with me. Trust me I'm the Doctor!" I empathize, her eyes lightly teared up.

She threw herself in my arms, as I held her tightly to my chest.

But suddenly she was laughing and looked up at me.

"Doctor Who?"
