I may have just promised a Manah update for this week. Posting late Friday in my time zone, so check your notifications on Saturday at some point!

"What's happening? What's going on? Is everything ok? God, something's gone wrong, hasn't it? I knew I shouldn't have left! I bloody knew-"

"Stop, Soph! Nothing's happening. Nothing's going on. Everyone is fine. Nothing's gone wrong. And yes, you should have left."

"But-"

"Lucas is fine."

"Something could-"

"But it won't. Jesus, woman, just trust the doctors."

"I do. But-"

"Sophie, I'm hanging up now. If something happens, I shall call you."

"But-"

"I'll call you!"

"You're just being mean, now."

"No, you are being overprotective."

"Well, excuse me! My brother just has a huge, life changing operation."

"Yes, he did. But no one else is freaking out about it, so neither should you."

"Oh, please, everyone is freaking out over it, but I'm the only one that's not a robot about it."

<<Hey! I'm not being a robot about it. I'm as worried as you are. The only difference is that I'm not being dramatic about it.>>

"-Oh, shut your gob, Emma. No one asked for your input.-"

"Sorry, Soph."

"No, don't you dare hang up."

"I have to. I'll call you if there's any major change, ok?"

"If you hang up, that's it"! I'm calling our engagement off!"

"No, you won't."

"..."

"Exactly. I love you. Bye."

"..."

"Sophie?"

"Fine. I love you too."

"Good. And there'll be no more talk of calling the engagement off. Are we clear?"

"..."

"Are. We. Clear?"

"Clear."

"Good. Have a safe flight back to New York."

"I hate you."

"Mhm. Bye."
