"So, do you still want to move to Paris?"

"Huh?"

"Do you still want to move to Paris?"

"I'm not a hundred per cent sure that I wanted to move there in the first place. I think you might have been right about that."

"Well, of course, I'm always right. But are you just making excuses now. Obviously, you've seen what happened to Kim Kardashian and now you're having second thoughts."

"How do you even know who Kim Kardashian is?"

"I've done my Googling."

"Because that's not extremely weird."

"Honestly, it's like you think that I'm not up to date with culture. Did you hear that she was robbed at gunpoint?"

"I did."

"Tragic."

"..."

"Anyway, how did your day go?"

"Boring. The whole Kim Kardashian thing has been the talk of the town. I can't wait until it's over and then I can get away from the whole drama."

"Well, what's making you stay there?"

"Nothing, I suppose."

"Then hop on a plane and come home."

"Maybe tomorrow, when the sky is blue."

"The sky is still blue, even when it's nighttime. It's called inky blue."

"Really, Daniel? You're going down that route?"

"Perhaps."

"Just for that comment, I'm going to stay the full duration of Fashion Week."

"So... you're staying until Wednesday?"

"Basically."

"Cool."

"Shut up."

"What did I do?"

"You're laughing."

"I'm not."

"On the inside you are."

"..."

"Knew it."

"It's funny!"

"Go away, Daniel."

"Sure thing."

"I hate you."

"You say that a lot."

"I mean it. A lot."

"You don't."

"..."

"So, Saturday-"

"Is your birthday!"

"About that-"

"Can I throw you a party?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I'll be thirty-two."

"Your point?"

"I'm too old for a party."

"No one is ever too old for a party."

"I am."

"But-"

"Too old for parties, Soph."

"What about a trip to-"

"Soho?"

"Exactly!"

"No."

"Daniel-"

"Sophie, no."

"Fine. For the record, a night out in Soho would be amazing."

"Well, I've already made plans for us, so please don't sneak behind my back and arrange for us to do something."

"..."

"I mean it, Soph."

"Yeah, yeah. Ok, ok."

"You're making plans for us in your head, aren't you?"

"No."

"I don't believe you."

"That's your personal opinion."

"It's also a fact."

"Again, your personal opinion."

"Again, it's a fact."

"..."

"Anyway, do you know what's going on with my sister?"

"Why would I know what's up with Evie?"

"Because you two conspire together."

"Still don't know how that explains why I'd know what's going on with her."

"Just thought you might now, that's all."

"Did she tell you what's going on with her?"

"Not really, she just said that we couldn't help me with something tomorrow because she has a 'long-standing engagement.'"

"Then maybe that's what is going on with her."

"No, there's something else."

"Then go and ask her."

"I don't really want to have to do that."

"Why not?"

"What if she's doing something really gross?"

"Such as?"

"Getting a smear test?"

"Ew, Daniel. THat's gross!"

"See what I mean?"

"Yeah, totally."

"So, can you call her up and see what's going on?"

"Fine. Honestly, the things I do because I'm in love with you."

"I know. But if it something gross, please don't tell me."

"Wait, so it's ok for me to know if it's gross, but I can't let you know that it's gross?"

"Exactly. Glas that we're on the same page."

"I bet. Right, hang up so I can call your sister and figure out what's going on."

"Ok. Good luck. Don't make it seem like I'm the one asking, though."

"I'll try. Right, I'll text you once I know what's what, ok?"

"Thank you. I love you for doing that, Soph."

"Wait, you only love me for that?"

"Mhm."

"Lies. I'm going now."

"I love you, Soph."

"I love you, too, Daniel."
