"Hello?" Pt. 2

Ok, so some of you hate Jasmine. Some of you love Jasmine. There are some days where I love her, and then there are days where even I end up hating her(although, I must admit, I have a lot of fun writing about her!)

Some have said that she's a good friend, some have said that she's a little bit crazy, and others have said that she's really hostile towards Daniel. Well, this update will explain why she is the way she is to Daniel, and for me, it shows a lot of her character. 

BE WARNED- there is no Sophie WHATSOEVER in this update. It's just Daniel and Jasmine.

"Hey, it's me."

<<It's not Sophie.>>

"Hello, Jasmine. Is Soph there?"

<<No.>>

"No, she's not there, or no, I'm refusing to put her on the line?"

<<The former, although I would also do the latter.>>

"I know you would. Where is Sophie?"

<<I don't know. I'm not her keeper.>>

"No, but you are her personal assistant."

<<As of Thursday, I'm not. As soon as her contract with Vogue came to an end, I ceased being her assistant. So, you're shit out of luck, douchebag.>>

"You know, I simply cannot wait until you and I are related through marriage."

<<Trust me, I can.>>

"Then why did you accept my brother's proposal?"

<<What do you want, Dan?>>

"I want to speak to my fiancée."

<<Well, like I told you, she isn't here.>>

"Normal, I would absolutely believe you on that. However, you've got Sophie's phone pressed to your ear, and if there's one thing that I know about Soph, it's that she cannot be more than ten feet from her phone. Ergo, she's within ten feet of you now."

<<Seeing as I'm the one that's here and I can see who is and who is not within ten feet of myself and Sophie's phone, I can assure you that you are wrong. Ergo, you're a bigger asshole than you were twenty seconds ago. Congratulations.>>

"Jasmine?"

<<What?>>

"Why do you hate me? I'm genuinely interested in knowing this. You seem to have taken an instant dislike to me and I cannot, for the life of me, work out how I have offended you. Please, enlighten me."

<<Seriosuly?>>

"By all means, lay it on em."

<<You made her cry.>>

"I made who cry?"

<<Sophie. You made her cry.>>

"..."

<<You broke her heart and made her cry.>>

"..."

<<That's why I hate you. You made my friend cry and made her feel as if she were worthless. She may have forgiven you, but I haven't.>>

"..."

<<You weren't there when she was inconsolable. You weren't there when she could barely muster a smile. you weren't there when she...>>

"When she what?"

<<You weren't there when she needed you. At least, you weren't there in the way she wanted you to be there. You called her every day, Dan. You ripped her heart to shreds and still had the audacity to call her up every day, reminding her that you didn't want her. You didn't see the pain on her face... I did. And I fucking hate you for it all.>>

"I know this won't mean anything to you, Jasmine, but I am sorry for putting Sophie through that. No one will ever understand how ashamed I am for doing that to her and I will do everything in my power to make sure that she never feels unwanted or unloved again. She's been through enough heartbreak. I won't let myself or anyone else hurt her again. I promise."

<<Those are just words, Dan. Words mean nothing.>>

"What can I do to prove it to you then?"

<<Nothing. It's not me that you should prove it too. But, let me be clear here- if you ever, ever make Sophie feel like she isn't worthy, like she isn't the most amazing person to have ever existed, like she isn't the centre of your damned world, I will hunt you down, I will rip your dick off and I will shove it so far up your ass, it'll be coming out of your mouth. Am I understood?>>

"That's graphic."

<<Am I understood?>>

"Understood, Loud and clear."

<<Good.>>

"Now can I speak to Sophie?"

<<No. She's not here.>>

"Is she really not there, or are you still being her guard dog?"

<<Fuck off, Dan.>>
