"Babe, can you come home?"

"No."

"But-"

"Sophie, I'm busy working."

"Jasmine's just rocked up at the house."

"She's there?"

"Yes."

"What's going on?"

"They're yelling at each other but I can't understand a word that they're shouting."

"So why do you need me?"

"Reinforcements, mainly." 

"I can send Evie if you want."

"That might be a good idea."

"Seriously? Sophie, I'm sure you can deal with it without reinforcements."

"Um, not I think I need help."

"Right. -Evie, can you go to the house and referee Jasmine and Samuel. Sophie's too much of a chicken to do it.-"

"Hey! I heard that."

"I'm sorry, was it a lie?"

"Not the point."

"Evie's on her way."

"She is?"

"Yes, she is. Evie wasn't being all that helpful anyway."

<<I heard that!>>

"-Again, was that a lie?-"

<<Not the point.>>

"God, you two are far too alike."

"You say that like it's a bad thing."

"It is a bad thing."

"It isn't."

"Let's not argue over it. Now that Evie's on her way, can I go back to work?"

"..."

"Sophie?"

"Yes, fine. Go back to work."

"I know that tone of voice, Sophie."

"There's no tone of voice."

"There is. It's the 'you should be feeling guilty, you shithead' tone of voice."

"I most certainly do not have that tone of voice."

"Oh, you most certainly do, my darling. You have a huge arsenal of tones of voice."

"..."

"Exactly. Ok, I've got to go now."

"Ok."

"Text me later to let me know what's going on with my brother. God, I hope he goes back to his place tonight."

"Why?"

"Because I can't stand to see his miserable face."

"Harsh."

"I love him. He's my brother, so of course, I love him. But he looks like he's been kicked in the balls, so he needs to go back to his own house."
