You worked on a Navy ship as a computer specialist and field operative. You were also dating Commander Steve McGarrett, leader of the Five-0 taskforce. Having been away for months and not being able to see each other had your heart pounding as you left the ship on the way to Five-0 HQ. You had some injuries as you had gone undercover and had gotten injured. The bruises were blossoming across your right cheek and your split lip stung as you licked your lips with excitement. Opening the glass doors, Kono was the first to spot you. "Aloha, Y/N!" Grinning at Kono, you were quick to reply with your own greeting. "Aloha, Kono. How's everything going? Steve get you shot at again?" She smirked before waving her hand at Steve, Danny and Chin who had just entered the room. "Nah brah, Danny got himself in trouble but other than that nothing that doesn't usually happen." She had noticed the bruises that decorated your face, choosing not to pry and knowing that Steve would blow it out proportion. Looking over your shoulder, you noticed that they had gotten closer. "Oi! It is not my fault that Army Ranger here decided to shoot at some idiots and get me stuck in the middle."

"Navy, Danny." Steve and you said in sync. You turned to smile at the trio and instantly they noted the purpling bruises and split lip. Their eyes narrowed, all in sync. It would have been funny if not for the homicidal looks they each displayed. "What the hell happened to you?" Danny spoke first. You looked Steve right in the eye knowing exactly what he was thinking. "Undercover mission. Classified. Need to know only. And sorry boys, none of you qualify for that information." Nodding Chin spoke up, "At least tell us that you got the guy."

"Yep, broken arm, crushed larynx and bruised rips." Danny and Chin looked impressed, Danny's look held an element of fear and awe. Kono had trained with you when you were on the island. Steve's look hadn't changed. "You know what, we are going to leave and Steven is going to tell you how much he has missed you. Isn't that right Steven?" Danny directed the last statement towards Steve. The three of them left the room and immediately went straight to Steve's office to overhear everything. "You ok Steve?"

"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME, YOU WERE ON A MISSION!" The explosion happened in a split second. "What part of classified, didn't you hear?" Your voice was glacial. "I went undercover and got hurt that is all I can tell you."

"I SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED THE MINUTE THIS HAPPENED!"

"LIKE HOW YOU TELL ME EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU'RE INJURED? I HAVE TO FIND OUT FROM CHIN, KONO OR DANNY. HELL, I'VE FOUND OUT FROM GRACE THAT YOU'VE BEEN INJURED. WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU TELL ME."

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU." That changed the atmosphere. "AND I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU." Your face moved to display nothing but pure shock. "You love me?" Steve nodded and moved forwards quickly. He kissed you, his hand moved and carded through your hair tilting you head up to meet his lips in a harsh demanding kiss.

In Steve's office, Kono turned to males, "I win brah, $20 from each of you. I told you he'd tell her in the middle of an argument." Danny groaned and Chin rolled his eyes, both handing her the money. She left the room. "The idiot couldn't have told her after he puts her life in danger, like getting her shot at." Danny argued as they too left, leaving Steve kissing you in the middle of the room, while muttering, "I love you." Between each kiss.
